I asked this company to vaildate the debt that they said I owed to Moses Cone Health System I sent the letter within the time frame and they responded back by just sending me 2 pages of a bill. I asked this company to provide me something with my signature they refuse to do that which in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act this is required to vaildate debts. They keep telling me that I have no rights under Fair Debt Collection act. I know my rights.

If you have this option

AUTHOR: Steph - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, November 02, 2010

Ryan,

If you have the option to block this # from calling your cell use it. I did that when a collection agency called my cell and I told them they had the wrong# . I was told they would remove my # from the database that did not happen the called again I did not answer but they left a message for this person I blocked the # from calling my cell. All you need to do is see the # that called hit options if 1 says add to block list select that

False Calls

AUTHOR: Ryan - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, November 02, 2010

This company has been calling my new cell phone number for a few weeks now.  I finally got tired of it and explained that the man they were calling must not own this number anymore, and they just laughed.  I hung up, and when i called back, they were extremely rude.  I guess i will know soon enough if they took the number off the list.

We are not violating the FDCPA

AUTHOR: Gm - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, October 01, 2008

Dear Sir,

PRC is an ethical, certified collection agency by our trade organization, the American Collectors Association. While we are not perfect, we do attempt to operate in an ethical, professional manner within the bounds of the law.

We have not in anyway violated the FDCPA with our communication with you. You have given no proof that we have and I don't appreciate false acusations. You requested validation, we gave it to you as we were required to do. Very rarely do hospitals have any documentation with signatures. If you weren't happy with what we gave you, you can certainly take up the issue with the creditor, in this case, Moses Cone Health System. We can only provide the information that they provide to us. If they tell us this account is not yours, then we will be happy to remove it from our system and cease any communication or negative credit listings, if any. We certainly do not want to contact people who do not owe the bill, we would be wasting our time and resources. I urge you to contact Moses Cone immediately to correct this matter if this is not your bill.

If you want to contact me directly, feel free to do so at gmiller@prorecoveryinc.com.

Geoff
