RipoffReport actually probably takes some heat and flak for the service they provide.

Please use all avenues available to you, but don't forget also to use http://www.bbb.org

Better Business Bureau also is a useful venue for airing public complaints against corporate entities (large, medium and small).

Additionally, contact your local labor board, an attorney if warranted and, potentially, the Attorney General for your state.

As well, if your case involves $1,000 or less in compensation/damages, you also may contact Wilson County Small Claims court, in order to get your issue resolved.

Just some notes to hopefully help out those who use RipOffReport.

I appreciate the person who filed a complaint about this company.

Recently, I became a temp worker for Proficient Staffing. I had heard one negative report about their tardiness/ lack of pay to workers on Craigslist, so I was wary.

On my first assignment, I learned that this wasn't just a rumor from ONE disgruntled ex-employee.

I spoke at length on my first assignment to several Proficient Staffing temps who had struggled to get payment for their jobs.

Very specifically, one man was very upset because he had done eight jobs for this company over a five week period, and had not yet received one dime in compensation.
The last time he called Laura, the front desk agent, she told him his check was in the mail.

Please, to those of you out there, take these complaints seriously.

If you are telling yourself that this is the only work you can find, ask yourself if it is REALLY work when you never get paid.

I will report back if I ever get paid for my one event- and how long it took.

I sincerely hope this company revises it's policies and works with Ripoff Report to clear it's name by creating a pay period in writing for all future workers.
