I purchased all my "premium" ball joints from Rickauto.com. After installation, I noticed the dust boots wouldn't stay on, so I contacted Rock Auto and got no help, then tim@proforged.com, and he said let him get with Rock Auto and they would take care of me, as he had no other dust boots. Then he said, let me double-check the Rock Auto website to make sure the ones I ordered fit.
He said the lowers were correct, but not the uppers. The uppers seemed to fit, but had a gouge in them. I sent him pics, and he said I did the gouge. I disagreed, but that he would help. After a couple days, I emailed him, and to no avail, to see how he could help, hopefully with some new uppers and boots that would fit the lowers.
He never replied, so the next day I called him, and complained to RockAuto.com for my money back. Rockauto agreed, until Tim@proforged contacted them and said the parts were fine and that he had told me that and denied that he told me that the uppers were wrong and that Rock Auto had them list for my truck. HE FLAT OUT LIED. All this time, my truck is on jacks and un-drivable!
Both these companies may be in cahoots together, or this Tim guy at Proforged is just a liar and they believe him. I have pretty good proof that I am telling the truth! Now, I had removed all the ball joints based on the fact I was supposed to get a refund. And FYI, there is no way those boots would fit those ball joints!
I tried for 2 hours to get them to fit, took off the steering knuckle, put a wire around them, used the removal cylinders, everything, they just were too small! I deserve a refund, but am now stuck with defective parts and am out $238, plus, time and labor and a vehicle still on jacks. Tried to add a pic of the boots not fitting, but it will not upload. The pic shows where the boots are too small.

Since latest report, I have found out that Proforged and Rock Auto are both in Wayne,
NJ and are most likely in cahoots together ripping people off by selling inferior auto parts as their Premium line, then making up reasons to deny refunds, in my instance, they were not, "fit for purpose!" They may even be owned by the same company, or people.
