Prudent Shoppers Research, Consumer Survey Specialist BEWARE OF FRAUD, New York, New York

Received a letter in the mail with a REAL check for $3890. There were instructions from "secret shopper" company telling me to deposit the check or call them so they could answer my questions and activate the check before I deposit it.

I was then supposed to make a wire transfer to a Rita Holsey @ 1723 Kentucky St, Louisville, KY 40210.

I was supposed to keep $300 as the earnings for this "first job" and use the remaining $80 to shop at a store to evaluate that store.

After googling this company (Prudent Shoppers Research aka Consumer Survey Specialist), I found all kinds of complaints from people who got the same letter. Sometimes the amounts are different in other peoples letters and the money has to be transferred to different names, but it is basically the same information, same rules, etc.

THANK GOD I googled this, or I would have been out $3890 and would have faced fraud charges from my bank, just like other people have who've actually deposited the checks.
