My wife, Mavis, age 76 became disoriented from Predisone several years ago. Unknowing to me she had a small debt on a MasterCard for probably not more than a $100. Several years later she started paying off the debt and refused to let me know anything about the debt. My son looked into it and on March 12, 2008 P. Scott Lowery Law firm offers to settle a $10306.91 debt with MasterCard for $3500.00. This firm refuses to send the transaction with the credit card company. They give me until the 28th of March to settle.
