Puppy Love Pets 2 Our new puppy almost died from severe parasite infestation BAiley North Carolina

We got our maltipoo on a Friday and took her to the vet on Monday morning. Found out she had tape worms, coccidiosis, and an ear infection. We began treatment immediately but she almost died because her diarrhea was so severe and her blood sugar low. We were careful nurses but one morning came in to the laundry room where she sleeps to find her seizing. We rushed to the emergency clinic, and $800 later in vet bills (and counting) she is doing better.
Please don't buy a puppy from this unscrupulous breeder. They are running a puppy factory and don't care about raising healthy dogs.

First off I am a current employee with puppy love. I am responsible for taking care of the dogs each day. Our puppies are on a strict medical regiment. We treat all of them for worms and coccidea, because every puppy is born with one or both of these parasites. Tape worm is from the puppies swallowing a flea, which cannot be treated in a six week old puppy without causing seizures. Marci and Sue's vet knew of the tape worm and said it was not life threatening and could be treated when the puppy got older. He also said that of all the parasites tapeworm is the least harmful. Secondly, Marci is consistent in telling customers of coccidea and even though we don't see it in her facility, she insists that we start treating them at three weeks old until they go home with there new parents. That is why the contract states that they are to take the puppy to their (new owners) vet for a physical and a stool check within 72hrs. Any responsible adult and any responsible vet would immediatly put them on albon for 10 days. If this was not done then of course the puppy could die from diarrhea. Which in fact the puppy did not have when it left our shop, because Marci teaches all of us the seriousness and importance of cleanliness and proper medical techniques, and we would not have let the puppy leave had it had diarrhea. In fact I have heard Marci tell many a customer to expect a loose stool for the first couple of days as this is brought on by stress of a new environment. Was Marci ever contacted by you after you went to the vet, and before you decided to badmouth her online??? I did ask Marci about this and she did offer you the option of bringing the puppy back so that she could medicate and heal the puppy for you. As far as your vet bills are concerned, you are the one that ran up the vet bills not us. And maybe you should consider getting a new vet that knows how to treat simple puppy ailments like coccidea, and not charge you an arm and a leg for nothing. I have been working with this business for a while. I have never been to a cleaner facility, nor have I seen owners who care so much about their animals as Sue and Marci do. Yes, we do handle quite a few puppies a year, but we are the most caring and devoted breeders. Notice I did say breeders and not a puppy factory. All of our dogs get regular vet checks along with daily attention. Marci and Sue are very devoted owners who will sit out with the mothers during birth and assist them with all that they need. They bond with each puppy and want to make sure that they all go to a good home. As to the minor ear infection, we really have no way of knowing that the pup had it. This is why we tell you that you have to go to the vet. As I also recall when you spoke to Marci about your puppy, and she offered for you to bring your puppy back for medical treatment, you never called back....
So please do not go around badmouthing buisinesses, when you yourself did not follow through on your end of the agreement. We are not a fault for you not contacting us back, or bringing your puppy to us for care. That is all on you honey. So it would be really nice for you to admit your fault, as we would admit ours had we been wrong. In this case everything that could have been done on our side was done.
