Firstly, I have been playing on PurePlay.com for several years now.  The first set of winnings I requested, were mailed to me by check in a timely manner.

That said, it seems to have become impossible to get them to pay me my current winnings, accumlated over the last few years.  I have followed their directions and requested my winnings on at least five separate occasions now, to no avail.

Within the "Claim Prizes" section they state: "Whenever there is an issue with your claim, we will email you from these addresses." and yet I have not received any correspondence at all.  One would expect at least an email stating "we received your claim, but you still need to..." and yet nothing.

I have been requesting these winnings for over a year now.  I have emailed their support.  I have called.  And yet no one has even acknowledged that I've sent the request (I have the FedEx paperwork they were required to sign).

Interestingly, they have had no problem continuing to bill my account for their monthly fee of playing on their site and the only correspondence I have seen was when my credit card was stolen and they were unable to bill me any longer.

Besides the $350, which isn't an unsubstantial sum, there were many many hours spent accumulating points to play in cash tournaments to spend even more time in an effort to hopefully win the cash.  As many have stated, it isn't easy winning on PurePlay, but I would argue that this isn't due to their "cheating", but rather the enormous number of fish on the site that are willing to call all the way to the river with nothing, in hopes of catching something to beat your better hand.  Since the site is based on a point system, it isn't like people are concerned that by playing "fishy" they are going to actually lose money -- just points.

I emailed support@pureplay.com the last time yesterday, warning them that should either respond to my requests for payment or explanation, or expect me to file complaints with the San Francisco BBB, the Attorney General of California, and here.

I received no reply.

I do have copies of the most recent FedEx paperwork, showing that I did send them a prize request and a copy of the list of prizes I have won, yet haven't been paid for.

I would suggest that anyone playing on PurePlay immediately request any outstanding winnings and see if they receive payment, before continuing to pay the monthly fee and spend the time necessary to win cash at their tournaments.
