I’m writing in regards to my experience with “QuickStart Interlock”.  After paying these criminals almost $100 a month, I received my deferment letter from DMV and went to have the interlock removed.  Not only did I have to pay an additional $100 for the whole month, when only 1 week was used, I had to pay $100 for removal and on top of that, they charged me an additional $30 re-scheduling fee.

They require a 24 hour notice to re-schedule so prior to making my appointment the day before; I called their main office to schedule the removal the same day. I deliberately asked if for some reason I had an issue with DMV printing my letter, would I be charged a fee to re-schedule, being that I scheduled it the same day and did NOT have 24hrs to re-schedule obviously. She said NO, that’s fine. Guess what? These con-artists still charged me an additional $30.

After explaining this to the manager “Caleb” (that’s what he calls himself), he argued with me it was too bad and that’s policy. So policy is lying to people to make even more money off this scam of a business.  This “Caleb” reeked of pot and booze, acted and appeared unprofessional. He looked like a pot head that rolled out of bed, glossy eyes like he smoked a fat one in the back (look at his picture and you tell me).  I then demanded my vehicle and that I refused to pay the ‘$30 FEE”, and he threatened me and said he will pull my vehicle around and disable it so that I couldn’t take it.

Before losing my cool, I paid to be done with this illegal fraudulent company.  To top it off, I found I was missing $60 from my vehicle later that night. I didn’t bother even contacting them again.  Obviously they can do and get away with anything they want.  My vehicle battery has died 3 times since they have removed their interlock.  The whole staff is a bunch of tattooed thugs and pot heads, go see for yourself.  I don’t know what they did to my vehicle, but if you want to get screwed, I promise you; this is the place to go. Guaranteed!!

I’m no longer surprised with the illegal activities I have witnessed between scam companies like QuickStart Interlock  as well as the law enforcement in this great state.

You can actually be convicted and charged for a much bigger crime than DUI for what you are pulling. See you in court! I'm not sure how you get through the door with such a big head. It makes you look ridiculous too.

Quickstart with BBB?? Paid dues gets you on BBB

AUTHOR: JohnAZ - ()

So funny. You think people believe the paid for services of the BBB?  Sorry, but keep telling yourself that. Ripoff Report is the accurate source of information.

I find it funny that whoever commented is basing their view of Quickstart on BBB. Nobody does. With the whole blood machine malfunction and PD knowingly using it is a crime in itself. I wonder how much money Quickstart collected during these 4 years. Hopefully your books are in order if requested.  I think whoever is writing here is worried about the court decision. Better get your checkbook ready for all the refunds once this court decision is upheld.

The blood machine has been malfunctioning for years...

I recently heard that the blood machine used in Scottsdale for the last 4 years has been found to be malfunctioning.  Giving wrong readings, etc.  This was even stated by the manufacturer.  And this case was upheld in Court.  They are now waiting for the phony appeal because they do not know what they are going to do with all the DUI's for the last 4 years.

Sounds like this company is set to lose a lot of money once this machine is removed and accurate readings are done.  Of course this place wishes the device was on longer so they can scam you out of more money.

I have an idea...once the Court again upholds the ruling, maybe everyone who had a device put on at this place can request a class action refund.  Is Quickstart ready to put out that kind of money for all the refunds?

You STILL AMAZE ME

You are telling me that I MUST work for the company, because I DARE to disagree with you.  WOW.  Usually only people with absolutely 0 intellect would assume that, but that's cool.

2nd Of All, others in the state disagre with your Assessment of QuickStart Interlock, INCLUDING THE BBB.

They Rated the Company with an "A".  Read it for your self.

http://www.bbb.org/central-northern-western-arizona/business-reviews/ignition-interlock-devices/quickstart-ignition-interlock-in-tempe-az-1000016300/

3rd of All, it is going to take FAR more that 2 or 3 rebuttals to get this to move to the top of Google.

I googled your "Complaint", it doesnt even register there yet.  So learn your lesson, and stop drinking and driving.

Here is what the BBB has said about them.

BBB Accreditation

A BBB Accredited Business since 8/21/2012

BBB has determined that QuickStart Ignition Interlock meets BBB accreditation standards, which include a commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints. BBB Accredited Businesses pay a fee for accreditation review/monitoring and for support of BBB services to the public.

BBB accreditation does not mean that the business' products or services have been evaluated or endorsed by BBB, or that BBB has made a determination as to the business' product quality or competency in performing services.

So I'm guessing you own QuickStart or are the retard in the picture. I don’t have to justify anything to you or your scam of a company making millions off of illegally convicted people. Look at the crack head you hired sitting there. You can rant and rave all you like buddy, your only making this story rank higher and this company loose more money. I do know how pot smells; I have dealt with morons like you and the ones you hire a looong time.

And why don’t you go do some reading, like how the Scottsdale PD has been framing so called intoxicated people with an illegal improperly working machine for the last 4 years. How’s that sound moron?  I hope you and these other BS companies lose their shirts. Get a real job and start a real business.  Some day these cities and governments will have swift justice for the corruptness that’s going on. Please respond to this so you can help me get this to the top of google Neanderthal.

You Amaze Me

You had to put this device on your car, because YOU  were arrested, and CONVICTED of a DWI.  Do you realize when you drive IMPAIRED, you are risking KILLING SOMEONE?

So you managed to get the courts to agree to remove the interlock device removed from your Car, and you are crying LIKE A LITTLE BABY because you had to pay for an entire month, plus they charged you a fee to remove it, then you made an appointment, and then wanted to reschedule it?

You deserved what you got.  I am surprised that the Courts agreed to let you get the device removed. I like how you say it reeks of pot at the company, and smells of booze.  Well you should know, should't you.

I love how you call them criminals, when YOU are the one with a criminal conviction.  BTW, your Auto Insurance rates are going to SOAR through the roof after your insurance company catches up with your run in with the law.

If I had my way, you would have spent 30 days in Jail, and lost your licence for 1 year.
