this office is closed on the weekend , the rent is due on the 3rd , this month the 2nd and 3rd were on a weekend i was there on the following monday to pay me rent like i alwasy do. she told me $32 and charged me $42 taking advantage of my hearing disabilty and charging me this without my knowlage, said they would refund me that fee but failed ! total liar! STEER CLEER OF THIS SCUM RIP OFF BUSINESS! they call the refund that they OWED ME generous!

rent cant be paid when they are closed!

I have had the storage unity for 2 years and always paid the rent by the 3rd unless it lands on a weekend , then i pay it on the following business day and that has never been an issue. then this month they charge me a late fee and didnt tell me.
They just slap the paper in front of me and i didnt notice the late charge as i trusted that if they were going to charge me nore then the months rent they would make it plain and clear. but that is not the case , they took advantage of me and my hearing disability and said very quietly so i dont notice 42 when the rent is only 32.
I personally think she was having a bad day and decided to take it out on me by charging the late fee that i have never been charged when the 3rd is on the weekend!

If they are like just about every storage facility I have seen, I would bet that the rent isn't "due" on the 3rd. I would bet that it is "due" on the 1st, and they give you 3 days before they assess a "late fee". As that covers these cases where the 1st would fall on a weekend, and still gives you a chance to pay.
Of course there are other ways to make sure this doesn't happen. Since you ALWAYS make your payment, can you set up an Auto-Debit to come out every month? You obviously paid them with a credit/debit card as that is the only way they could charge you $42 that was according to you charged without your knowlege. You obviously have Internet so do they have any sort of online payment methond you could use?
