I signed up for Real Data Entry as a "full time associate". I paid $47.00. This meant that I would receive 3 assignments per day to complete. They sent me a link to a webpage which I would read and critique. I would look for content, for English grammatical errors, and then give recommendations as to how to improve the web site. I filled out their questionnaire upon completion of every assignment.

I was to be paid $10.00 for each assignment I completed. I could request payment once I had done 100 assignments ($1000.00). I completed the assignments, and put in a request for my $1000.00. I did receive an email saying it would take them 2 - 4 weeks to verify I had done all the work, and then a check would be sent to me.

Believing I was going to be paid, I continued to read and critique assignments. My total rose to $1820.00.

I NEVER received a check.

It is now 7 - 8 weeks, and I have heard nothing.

On their website, in the FAQ, they said that once you became an associate, you could never be "fired". When I reached the total owed me of $1820.00, they suddenly stopped sending me assignments. I wrote, requesting an update on my check, and asked why I was not received assignments.

I was ripped off for $47.00 up front, and then I worked for them, earned $1820.00, but was never paid.

They are a Rip Off!

This is terrible

AUTHOR: Just Looking - (U.S.A.)

Freelance Writers, Editors, Proofers and Content Producers are always being ripped off.

It's terrible that you have been treated the way you have been treated. You worked hard, put in your time per their conditions and still you got screwed.

Well, at least now anyone who does a search on this company will know not to do business with them. If you have names of those who run this company adding them to your Report will be helpful to others as sometimes names of companies change however the scammers name remains the same.

Any further info you can provide about the person(s) who failed to pay you would be appreciated.

Enter the name of this company (and your complaint) everwhere you can on the net. Search engines can be a b***h for scammers. Especially online scammers.

Keep us posted. Thank you for your Report
