we purchased our  Shih Tzu from Regina for our son's fifth birthday four years ago, we have had no problems and are going to be purchasing another sibling for him in December. 

Whomever started this is an internet troll I assure you. I bought my Ozzy from Gina and he is perfect, and she obviously is insanely devoted to raising puppies, and the best possible. Spend five minutes around her and you will see that. Sites like this do a disinformation service by allowing disgruntled people with aluminum foil underwear waiting on the mothership to couch their psychoses in the guise of what appears to be but is not a legitimate forum. This troll obviously has some personal vendetta against this breeder, and that is her perogative, just like waiting on the mothership I suppose, but a forum like this that couches such an obvious jerry springer vendetta like that in some, and I mean very thin, cloak of so called legitimacy, is just wrong. Gina is a legitimate breeder. I searched for months and screened I dont know how many before picking her. I was not wrong. I could go into more detail, but the only detail that matters, and why did no one see this, is the obvious one- if this person had a legitimate or legal complaint they would have taken it to court not some trool forum like this- the fact that they did not take it to court and did indeed start some 14 year old girl type troll and flame war here says, I think, all you need to know about whomever this so called jody or whatever is.

I purchased a wonderful little tzu baby from Regina about 4 years ago. My Sophie was the baby of Regina's Zsa Zsa. Regina was completely informative and helpful to me. I found her to be very honest, open and a genuinely caring lady. When I originally contacted Regina, I had picked out the "runt" of the litter and named her Gidget. We were broken hearted when Gidget didn't make it, she was too small and may have ingested fluid in her lungs at birth. Regina set up with her all night nursing her, calling her vet for advice, trying her best to pull little Gidget through. Regina was devestated when my little Gidget did not make it and told me she would give me my deposit back or a pick of the next litter of one of her precious tzu babies. Instead I chose one of Gidget's siblings, who became my Sophie.

During this I made many visits to Regina's home to visit with first Gidget, and then Sophie, before she was old enough to leave her mom. Regina alwasy had several of dogs in the house, and a few in her kennel. Her obvious love and care for these dogs was always obvious. They were a part of her family. And knowing Regina, I can definitely see her taking pity on someone who shows up at her door with a claim of loving these dogs and so wanting one to love, I can see Regina taking pity on this person and thinking she would be giving one of her babies a good home with them.

Right now my heart is breaking for Regina's little Jazzy. I do remember her from my visits to Regina. I would give her a home in a heartbeat - these dogs are special creatures and they give TONS of love, and deserve nothing but love in return.

That's it. I would not hesitate to purchase one of Regina's dogs because I know her as a kind lady who genuinely loves these dogs.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, I know for a fact that my mom and dad have used a CPA for MANY years and THEY pay their taxes in FULL. They pay more in taxes than many people make in a year. I would never involve my child in a adult argument. I know you have mentioned to acquaintances & other breeders you have cleared well over two hundred & fifty thousand dollars a year on your lovely puppies & don't even have to work as a school bus driver if you didn't need the benefits.

So I guess the next place we can carry this to is the Internal Revenue Service, if I was you I would save all my receipts. I don't owe you a thing. Furthermore I have checked with the IRS & they can go back through your records for the last 7 years. I also know you have taken credit cards as well as cash. I have confirmed this with several of your puppy buyers.

My advise to you is to stop emailing people & making a a** of yourself with you incessant whining. Anyone that makes 250 + a year tax free shouldn't have that much to whine about.

In defense of my mother, this rebuttal is to warn the public about Jody Ingram and Golden Reign Shih Tzu. I am 15 years old, a high school honor roll student, and plan to become a veterinarian. Before Jody started 'Golden Reign Shih Tzu' in 2006, Jody Ingram came to my mom, Regina, for her first two dogs, using hidden intentions.

My entire life, my mom has owned Shih Tzu, (actually since 1985). I have witnessed my mom become the victim of dishonest breeders. I have witnessed Jody acquire two dogs from us through lies and betrayal. I have even witnessed another breeder USE - without permission - our Champion show dog's photos on her own website, in an effort to deceive the public.

Our ten Shih Tzu live inside of our home as well as their own log home, which is insulated, heated, air conditioned, and has video monitors and doggy doors. I help my mother take care of all our little babies.

My mother was a veterinarian assistant, for 4 years while getting her bachelor's degree. My mom is very competent in giving vaccinations. Our dogs are always up to date on shots. My mother is 100% dedicated to her Shih Tzu, as they have been her favorite hobby since 1985. And just for you Jody, knowledgeable breeders know that a Shih Tzu born with no tail is only a recessive gene that happens to show up every now and then. This is something that even I learned in the 7th grade! I am sure that after breeding for 23 years you will have one too.

When I was only 13 years old, I agreed to allow my favorite, beloved Jazzy go to live with Jody's mother, Judy, as her therapy dog. Yes, we had sympathy for Judy because she was seriously ill. When Judy passed away recently, Jazzy was supposed to be returned to us. We have the signed agreement from Jody's mother! Jody, however refused to return Jazzy to us, and fraudulently signed Jazzy's ownership over to her own name!

It tore my heart out when I found out that Jody bred my baby girl, Jazzy, only 4 months after we had given her to her mom. Jody knew that the poor dog had previous hormonal related skin problems during pregnancy. I was THERE when my mom told Jody about Jazzy's vet diagnosis. However, Jody not only bred Jazzy, but bred her to a related dog. Jody continues breeding Jazzy. It is obvious that Jody has no feelings and not a care in the world.

Yes, Jody, according to the contract you signed, you DO owe us puppies from Jazzy's current litter. Seems you failed on that contract as well.

When Jody's mom died, my mom sent her respects in an email, expressing her sorrow. My mom asked Jody to return Jazzy in the email, but not in a nasty way. We have the original email. Speaking of emails Jody used in her rebuttal, Jody eliminated part of the conversation AS WELL AS all of those involved, in an effort to cover up the real truth. Jody, is good at covering her tracks.

Our dogs are ALL AKC REGISTERED (and many are CHAMPIONS that WE titled). The only two dogs that happened to be double registered with both AKC AND CKC were the two dogs that were given to Jody and Judy in April 2006. They were originally given to Jody and Judy as pets, with NO registrations. Jody bred them against her word. ONLY then did Jody want the AKC papers on the dogs. In exchange for the papers, Jody SIGNED an agreement to give two puppies back from each and every litter- which she so stubbornly refuses to do. Jody Ingram is a fraud and should be avoided.

I HAVE NO NEED TO EXONERATE MYSELF FOR ANYTHING. MY ABOVE REPORT SAYS IT ALL, INCLUDING HER OWN WORDS IN SICK EMAILS SHE SENDS TO OTHER BREEDERS IN ATTEMPTS TO MAKE HERSELF FEEL IMPORTANT. SHE HAS CLEARLY EXPOSED HER CHARACTER FOR ALL TO SEE. I WILL WASTE NO MORE OF MY TIME ON THIS TROUBLED INDIVIDUAL.

First of all Regina Kitchens being the generous person she is would not "out of the goodness of her heart" given me AKC & CKC papers on the Dog's if she did not mean for them to be bred nor if she had not been paid for them in the first place. People don"n just give dogs away as pets with papers.
I think if Mrs Kitchens put as much energy in her breeding program as she does in running her mouth & getting in other peoples buisness, she might have something to brag about.
She is so proud of her AKC Champions she has to resort to contacting professional breeders I have done buisness with to brag to, lie, & put me down to, while at the same time ask them to sell her one of their dogs.

IF YOU NOTICE IN THE ABOVE EMAILS SHE REFERS TO FUTURE BREEDINGS WITH THE DOGS I 'PURCHASED FROM HER, SHE ADMITS ALSO THAT SHE RECIEVED PUPPIES FROM THE FIRST LITTER.

Unlike her I do have proof in writing that what I say is true.I will be more than glad to provide anyone who would like to see them with copies proving she is a poor excuse for a liar.
Also as I have mentioned before & from the horses mouth itself I did indeed pay for the above named dogs with the 2 pick puppies from Jazzy's first litter. She had no problem with me breeding them so long as she got the first 2 pick puppies from any future litters produced for the remainder of theor lives.
If you would like to talk about serious health issues Mrs Kitchens on 2 seperate occasions had litters with Cleft Pallates & missing tails. You wont see those on her web site!
Her excuse was her dog's came down with Kennel cough because they had not been annualy vaccinated as one is suposed to do. So she resorted to giving all of her dogs including her pregnant bitches antibiotics which she says caused the afflicted litters of which several died.
I might be a newcomer to breeding & showing Shih Tzu but even I know to take your dogs to the vet to get the proper medication & care instead of playing doctor at home & having deformed puppies who suffered as a result.
I intend to stop this childish argument because as any idiot can see this is a personal vindetta for Mrs Kitchens. Every email that I recieve where she is running her mouth in efforts to make herself feel important or special will be posted so you can see how deranged this sugar coated individual really is.
AKC champions have nothing to do with health issues.
Mrs Kitchens also talks a big talk about agreements between breeders but it seems she cant even keep the ones she makes. I have proof of this also.
My mother was hospitialized in May of 07. I was asked by my mother to take care of Jazzy as my mother loved her dearly.We have taken very good care of her as if she was one of my children. I do have vet bills for her regular health checks. Mrs Kitchens wasted no time after my mothers death to start harassing me so much so that I could not even bury my mother in peace or grieve. She emailed me the day after my mothers funeral. I also have this pathetic email if anyone would like to see it.
I have never taken any shortcuts when it comes to my dogs. Also I am in no wrong with my county & have broken no laws. Ask Mrs Kitchens how many litters she had last lear & to see the breeding records on her bitches who are never given a proper or decent rest between litters.
I will gladly show you my AKC records that clearly show my females are treated with humanity & love. Certainally not looked at as a slot machine for ones ego. You better ask her for her CKC records also since she double registeres many of her dogs.
All of my Shih Tzu are proffesionally groomed in my home by my mobile groomer every 8 weeks. She is providing me with a statement & a invoice of her services to be posted with this report.

Bottom line is Regina cant tolerate any competition from ethical breeders, breeding healthy beautiful puppies in the same area as her.

If Mrs Kitchens wants to take the high road as I do she can refund me the 800.00 for the puppy she sold as payment for Jazzy. In addition to vet bills of 321.00 & boarding for the last 2 years which came to 3,550 Which comes to a total of 4,671 to be PAID IN FULL with a cashiers check from the bank only.
She WILL be spayed upon delivery so add a additional 160.00 for services rendered
I dont provide boarding, feed & vet bills for free!

Actually I am bothered.... By people who are so quick to put other people down and try to make them look bad I am totally intolerant of gossip. I find it distasteful to slander another breeder and ask for show puppy in the same email. I am sorry I do not have a show puppy at this time I am bringing them all to the National I may visit you and see your new champions while I am in town. And I will be visiting Jody as well she invited me to stay at her house during the National quite sometime back.

Sorry my 1st email was so redundant; I should have proof-read it. I noticed that Jody bought Reddi from you. She and Jackie Bozeman are very good friends. I know Jody: she got her first Shih Tzus from me, just last year. She lives 3 miles from me. She was never very honest with me. I tried to mentor her, but she went on a rampage and started buying lots of females from ANY and everybody. She bought several pet females, and 2 came from a puppy mill. Next thing I knew, Jody had 15 dogs in her doublewide trailer. Oh well, can't seem to talk sense into some people. I tried. I realize you didn't breed Reddi, but he is a pretty dog. Unlike her I do have proof in writing that what I say is true.I will be more than glad to provide anyone who would like to see them with copies proving she is a poor excuse for a liar.
Also as I have mentioned before & from the horses mouth itself I did indeed pay for the above named dogs with the 2 pick puppies from Jazzy's first litter. She had no problem with me breeding them so long as she got the first 2 pick puppies from any future litters produced for the remainder of theor lives.
If you would like to talk about serious health issues Mrs Kitchens on 2 seperate occasions had litters with Cleft Pallates & missing tails. You wont see those on her web site!
Her excuse was her dog's came down with Kennel cough because they had not been annualy vaccinated as one is suposed to do. So she resorted to giving all of her dogs including her pregnant bitches antibiotics which she says caused the afflicted litters of which several died.
I might be a newcomer to breeding & showing Shih Tzu but even I know to take your dogs to the vet to get the proper medication & care instead of playing doctor at home & having deformed puppies who suffered as a result.
I intend to stop this childish argument because as any idiot can see this is a personal vindetta for Mrs Kitchens. Every email that I recieve where she is running her mouth in efforts to make herself feel important or special will be posted so you can see how deranged this sugar coated individual really is.
AKC champions have nothing to do with health issues.
Mrs Kitchens also talks a big talk about agreements between breeders but it seems she cant even keep the ones she makes. I have proof of this also.
My mother was hospitialized in May of 07. I was asked by my mother to take care of Jazzy as my mother loved her dearly.We have taken very good care of her as if she was one of my children. I do have vet bills for her regular health checks. Mrs Kitchens wasted no time after my mothers death to start harassing me so much so that I could not even bury my mother in peace or grieve. She emailed me the day after my mothers funeral. I also have this pathetic email if anyone would like to see it.
I have never taken any shortcuts when it comes to my dogs. Also I am in no wrong with my county & have broken no laws. Ask Mrs Kitchens how many litters she had last lear & to see the breeding records on her bitches who are never given a proper or decent rest between litters.
I will gladly show you my AKC records that clearly show my females are treated with humanity & love. Certainally not looked at as a slot machine for ones ego. You better ask her for her CKC records also since she double registeres many of her dogs.
All of my Shih Tzu are proffesionally groomed in my home by my mobile groomer every 8 weeks. She is providing me with a statement & a invoice of her services to be posted with this report.

Bottom line is Regina cant tolerate any competition from ethical breeders, breeding healthy beautiful puppies in the same area as her.

If Mrs Kitchens wants to take the high road as I do she can refund me the 800.00 for the puppy she sold as payment for Jazzy. In addition to vet bills of 321.00 & boarding for the last 2 years which came to 3,550 Which comes to a total of 4,671 to be PAID IN FULL with a cashiers check from the bank only.
She WILL be spayed upon delivery so add a additional 160.00 for services rendered
I dont provide boarding, feed & vet bills for free!

First of all Regina Kitchens being the generous person she is would not "out of the goodness of her heart" given me AKC & CKC papers on the Dog's if she did not mean for them to be bred nor if she had not been paid for them in the first place. People don"n just give dogs away as pets with papers.

I think if Mrs Kitchens put as much energy in her breeding program as she does in running her mouth & getting in other peoples buisness, she might have something to brag about.

She is so proud of her AKC Champions she has to resort to contacting professional breeders I have done buisness with to brag to, lie, & put me down to, while at the same time ask them to sell her one of their dogs.

She had no money, and sweet-talked me into giving her two dogs. I had sympathy for her I was ready to 'retire' a couple of my dogs. She signed agreements to give me a puppy back from each litter, (which she did that for only the first litter). ALSO she was supposed to return the female, "Jazzy", to me when her mother could no longer keep her. Jazzy has not been returned to me. As a matter of fact, she took steps to ensure that Jazzy would not have to be returned to me. She told me that I had misspelled her name on the papers, but I knew better. Her name and her mother's name are very similar, so she simply changed one letter and thus put JAZZY in her own name. Lately she made the comment to a friend of mine in NC: "There is a way around everything." This sums up her character perfectly.
The sad fact of the matter is, I showed her everything I knew, EVERYTHING.... I did my best to help her. Only to be blindsided. She moved so quickly. She created a website and said FULL registration would always be given with each puppy. I kept trying to 'mentor' her, but she pretty much shut the door on me. I am praying that I can get over what happened and let it go. I'll take solice in your words. Maybe she'll some day she will regret it.

Regina Kitchens I'd LOVE for you to come and visit! I too despise gossip and will not tolerate it. I was simply giving you a 'heads-up', based on my experience with the girl. I will also be happy to talk to you if you call me. I'll share my personal experience (NOT gossip) with you!

Sorry my 1st email was so redundant; I should have proof-read it. I noticed that Jody bought Reddi from you. She and Jackie Bozeman are very good friends. I know Jody: she got her first Shih Tzus from me, just last year. She lives 3 miles from me. She was never very honest with me. I tried to mentor her, but she went on a rampage and started buying lots of females from ANY and everybody. She bought several pet females, and 2 came from a puppy mill. Next thing I knew, Jody had 15 dogs in her doublewide trailer. Oh well, can't seem to talk sense into some people. I tried. I realize you didn't breed Reddi, but he is a pretty dog. IF YOU NOTICE IN THE ABOVE EMAILS SHE REFERS TO FUTURE BREEDINGS WITH THE DOGS I 'PURCHASED FROM HER, SHE ADMITS ALSO THAT SHE RECIEVED PUPPIES FROM THE FIRST LITTER.

Unlike her I do have proof in writing that what I say is true.I will be more than glad to provide anyone who would like to see them with copies proving she is a poor excuse for a liar.
Also as I have mentioned before & from the horses mouth itself I did indeed pay for the above named dogs with the 2 pick puppies from Jazzy's first litter. She had no problem with me breeding them so long as she got the first 2 pick puppies from any future litters produced for the remainder of theor lives.
If you would like to talk about serious health issues Mrs Kitchens on 2 seperate occasions had litters with Cleft Pallates & missing tails. You wont see those on her web site!
Her excuse was her dog's came down with Kennel cough because they had not been annualy vaccinated as one is suposed to do. So she resorted to giving all of her dogs including her pregnant bitches antibiotics which she says caused the afflicted litters of which several died.
I might be a newcomer to breeding & showing Shih Tzu but even I know to take your dogs to the vet to get the proper medication & care instead of playing doctor at home & having deformed puppies who suffered as a result.
I intend to stop this childish argument because as any idiot can see this is a personal vindetta for Mrs Kitchens. Every email that I recieve where she is running her mouth in efforts to make herself feel important or special will be posted so you can see how deranged this sugar coated individual really is.
AKC champions have nothing to do with health issues.
Mrs Kitchens also talks a big talk about agreements between breeders but it seems she cant even keep the ones she makes. I have proof of this also.
My mother was hospitialized in May of 07. I was asked by my mother to take care of Jazzy as my mother loved her dearly.We have taken very good care of her as if she was one of my children. I do have vet bills for her regular health checks. Mrs Kitchens wasted no time after my mothers death to start harassing me so much so that I could not even bury my mother in peace or grieve. She emailed me the day after my mothers funeral. I also have this pathetic email if anyone would like to see it.
I have never taken any shortcuts when it comes to my dogs. Also I am in no wrong with my county & have broken no laws. Ask Mrs Kitchens how many litters she had last lear & to see the breeding records on her bitches who are never given a proper or decent rest between litters.
I will gladly show you my AKC records that clearly show my females are treated with humanity & love. Certainally not looked at as a slot machine for ones ego. You better ask her for her CKC records also since she double registeres many of her dogs.
All of my Shih Tzu are proffesionally groomed in my home by my mobile groomer every 8 weeks. She is providing me with a statement & a invoice of her services to be posted with this report.

Bottom line is Regina cant tolerate any competition from ethical breeders, breeding healthy beautiful puppies in the same area as her.

If Mrs Kitchens wants to take the high road as I do she can refund me the 800.00 for the puppy she sold as payment for Jazzy. In addition to vet bills of 321.00 & boarding for the last 2 years which came to 3,550 Which comes to a total of 4,671 to be PAID IN FULL with a cashiers check from the bank only.
She WILL be spayed upon delivery so add a additional 160.00 for services rendered
I dont provide boarding, feed & vet bills for free!

A year ago, Jody came to my home and introduced herself on my doorstep. She explained that she lived right around the corner, and that she knew that I raised beautiful Shih Tzus. She stated that she had no money, and that she only wanted a companion Shih Tzu to love. She was wondering if I had any 'free' dogs. She also told me about her financial situation, and how she was taking care of her sick mother.

Out of pure kindness and sympathy, I gave her one adult male, who was not to be used for breeding. She was ecstatic over him. I told her that she could have him BUT that he should not be bred. She assured me that he would just be her baby. She came back the next day, begging me to let her have an adult female for her mother, Judy Smith. Her mother was seriously ill, and needed a Shih Tzu for a loving companion. Again, Jody assured me that both dogs would be kept as pets, no breeding. She said they had no money for spaying or neutering, but that the dogs would not be bred.

I indicated that the female, Jazzy, should not be bred, because she had a difficult pregnancy in the past, and my vet had confirmed that she had a hormonal problem. Later, she came back to me with Jazzy, and asked me to show her how to groom her. Jody had tried to cut Jazzy's coat with scissors and a beard trimmer. The poor dog was cut and nicked in numerous places. So I demonstrated how to properly groom her with professional clippers.

A short time later, I was told that Jody was having both dogs bred by a local vet. I was shocked, because Jody had promised me that they were only going to be her pets. It was obvious that Jody had only wanted the dogs for breeding. I, THEN, demanded that Jody pay me back for both dogs. She agreed that she would, as long as I gave her the AKC papers on the dogs. She was given all papers, including diagnoses and CERF eye tests on the dogs.

She has now been breeding for one year. I might add, Jody had agreed to give the female dog, Jazzy, back to me when her mother could no longer take care of her. Her mother has since passed away. Yet Jody refuses to return Jazzy to me. Jazzy deserves to be in a pet home, and needs to be retired from breeding. Poor dog. However, Jody has ignorantly re-bred her.

After telling her over and over not to be breeding him, Jody finally neutered the male. If she had wanted dogs for breeding purposes, she should have been honest about it. I have been breeding Shih Tzu since 1985. Jody has been breeding for one year. She is also angry because I reported her for breeding without a license. Yes, she is learning that taking short-cuts will not work in the breeding business.

I am very ethical, I work very hard for my dogs, and every penny from puppies goes back into my show expenses and breeding program. I stand behind my dogs and puppies with an extended health guarantee. Jody was correct in her statement, "In the end the truth will prevail and afterall actions speak louder than words" >>> In one year, I have finished two AKC CHAMPIONS, and will be showing another home bred soon.
