If you are one day late renewing your domain this company will disable your website! No grace period whatsoever. The real kicker is  when you go to renew the domain you will suddenly find an additional 25.00 service charge called a restatement fee which is nothing more than an additional fee to put more money in their pockets.

Their renewal fee is already one of the highest in the industry currently at 38.00 dollars. 63.00 dollars to renewal a domain is outrageous and excessive.

Also if your domain has expired they will not let you transfer your domain to another registrar. Anyway you go you will have to pay their fees or lose you website.

Do not do business with this company or if you currently have a domain registered with them you should seriously consider moving it.

They got me too!

AUTHOR: Nelson - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, February 10, 2011

I have had a domain registered with them for the past 7 years and this restatement fee has never appeared on my fee chart. This year I was unable to renew on time due to a hospitalization and was shocked to see the additional 25.00 fee added to my account.

I refuse to use their safe-renewal as they always add on extra fees and one has to uncheck them to avoid getting charged.

Anyway, they will be happy to remove it if as long as you renew your domain with them for more than 2 years.

Policy changes such as these should be sent to their clients in clear language and titled as such to separate it from the normal spam they send out.

They Did Nothing Wrong

AUTHOR: Jacob - (USA)

You acknowledge that you were late making a payment. If you disagree with this company's policies and procedures for late payments, you were under no obligation to do business with them in the first place. Don't blame them for your own lateness.
