Remodel America Ripped Off 16K for drafty windows and poor installation. Now the company seems to have disappeared Nashville Tennessee

Almost one year ago we were in need of new windows. We contacted what seemed to be a reputable company. Remodel America sent a salesman out to the house with a fancy sales pitch. We ended up purchasing 18 new windows and a door for 16K. One day after the original installation, a different sales person was at our door step for a check. We were not even completely satisfied with the installation and was waiting for the door to be installed one week later. The installation crew left a huge mess (saw dust, etc) and I had requested they come back and clean up which never happened. Five months after the request to install the door - it finally happened. We had several windows that did not fit. When the wind blew the windows would make a "howling noise". After about two months of requesting yet another problem to be fixed. One window was "fixed". I am still stuck with windows in the bedroom that howl every time the north wind blows. Just before the holidays I was relentless on contacting the company to get the problem fixed. I could never seem to contact anyone at Remodel America. I finally contacted the installation company and was informed that Remodel America was "closed" until shortly after New Year's. I have called the company daily since the first of the year. When I call I get a "all lines are busy" reply and I am placed on hold indefinately. I still have "howling windows" and a door that does not fit. Someone please help me!!!!!
