things are not always what they seem

AUTHOR: Dinkledorfer - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 23, 2013

To the author: It seems you did have a bad experience and that can't be changed. I have some suggestions for you. In the future, you would do better (considering budget restraints) to shop for a good used computer. Since I have sold many myself, I can say you can get a decent used (Dual core) laptop off Thrifty Nickel, KSL.com, Craigslist and other places for $125 or less. Just make sure you do a good test of the machine before you buy it. Do NOT just take a sellers word. Test the machine before you close the deal. With desktops, you can do even better. There are plenty of older and quite functional machines out there for under $100 for a complete system. Newer is not always better and some of the older (3-5 years old) machines are great workhorses and were built when quality was still there. Your basic error was in not knowing there are other options you could have used. You did what we all do..... draw off what knowledge we have and do the best we know how.

To the rude employee: Had you been working for me with that attitude, you would have been fired within the first week. I would not want a person like you representing my business. To elaborate further would achieve nothing. Grow up and learn to speak and act like an adult.

It was mentioned that because someone has bad credit and has to (they believe) use a company like this, that they are just plain trashy people. Not so! Apparently, you have absolutely no understanding of credit and how it works. You made assumptions without any facts to justify your position. Credit these days is getting destroyed on a grand scale through forces that are not in a consumers control. How many people have lost homes due to job loss? How many have been shafted by the banks making bad loans? It's the public that took the hits and incurred the damage. What has happened to the value of homes? Did the consumer do this? Banks got free money to cover their greed motivated actions. The consumer got shafted! DO you have any idea what having to do a short sale will do to you credit? People are losing their jobs left and right, jobs they have been at for years. Are they trash now because of it? You need to get your head out of that dark place it is residing and learn how the system actually works. Follow the money and open your eyes. We have been lied to by the very people we entrusted to protect us. The wolf is truly watching the hen house!

You know why you have to go to Rent To Own

AUTHOR: IamGood - (USA)

You are stuck with Rent To Own because your credit rating SUCKS!!!  No one trusts you any more, and you are paying a premium for that Credit Rating.

If you are paying 129.00 a month, and you can buy a computer for 600.00, why dont you just save up the 129.00 for 6 months, then buy a computer out right????

Because you want it NOW!!!!  Well my friend, there is a price for that, and boy are you paying that price.

YOU MADE YOUR BED, NOW LIE IN IT!!!
