CBCS sent a collection "settlement" letter for thier client RESURGENT CAPITAL SERVICES for AT&T BROADBAND LLC claiming we owed $462.60 for, but they would settle for $231.30. We live in a town that does not have cable! There is no possible way we had "cable service!" CBCS would not disclose any information about RESURGENT CAPITAL SERVICES' cause for action unless I sent them my personal information. They went by the name "Mrs. Blue." I'm fortunate to have absolute proof that we never had this service. Beware of CBCS and RESURGENT CAPITAL SERVICES!!
