Paid $6900.00 for a new roof on a 1500sq. ft. single story L-shaped ranch.  Called right after the job was finished in June, 2010 because of leaks, and no response.   We have had torrential rains recently - May 2011, and rainwater was pouring down through the lighting soffits below four skylights today, as well as water leaking down the inside chimney wall because the water diverter (cricket) was ripped out and the pieces dropped into the attic.  A new one was never re-installed. 

     Also, the roofing paper was cut off at the edges of the roof, and then cut back from the edge from 6 to eight inches on all sides or edges of the roof.   The ridge vent also was installed improperly.   Sadly, as bad as the old roof looked, there were no leaks at all before this guy touched it.
