I sent this woman 2 puppies on Delta airlines and she sent me 2 cashiers checks. She received both dogs and then reported these checks lost/stolen and stopped payment. She has both puppies and the money. She is a total scam artist because she didn't want either puppy microchipped. She won't return any emails or phone calls.

Rinay is an upstanding person with amazing dogs!

I bought a puppy about 5 years ago from Rinay and couldn't have been happier with the entire experience. She is professional, responds promptly, answered any and all questions without hesitation, and sent weekly pictures of our little baby puppy while we waited until he was old enough to come home! :)
The person who is calling Rinay a scam artist seems to be a scam artist herself. Sending a dog to Rinay that was not the quality expected.
If I was Rinay I would have done the same thing. Obviously if the courts favored Rinay, then this Connie person is definetly in the wrong here. Perhaps she has been caught up in her own scam and trying to cover for herself? Hmm... something to think about.

Three years later and STILL giving Rinay credit...

Several people we know have sought out Doberman puppies after meeting one of Rinay's dogs...MY LEVI. He is a beautiful, well-behaved gentleman. Gorgeous to his breed standard and a perfectly healthy blue. After meeting this guy, none of our friends seem to want anything else... :) Rinay is great.

Awesome Dobe

I purchased a red, female Doberkid from Rinay about 2 1/2 years ago. Coki is a marvelous dog! She is obedience trained, a Canine Good Citizen, and a certified therapy dog that regularly attends school in my 5th grade classroom. She meets breed standards in every way. I always get compilments on how beautiful she is. The Broyles were very easy to work with, considerate enough to send picture updates, and very helpful when it was time to pick up my pup. I would purchase another pup from her in a dober heartbeat!
It is a shame to go to such lengths to cause damage to someone like Rinay when there are so many puppy mills and true ripoff artists in the dog world. Connnie's time would be better spent improving her own lines considering the pup she sent had problems and volunteering time to fight against puppy mills and brokers.

Owner of a Wonderful Doberman from Rinay

I had a great experience with Rinay, and I've had my doberman for 2 years (no doberman rescue needed for us!). She was totally fair, worked with me on my terms (actually went out of her way to deliver the pup to me at the airport), and she is responsible for breeding the perfect companion-amazing disposition, and excellent health. I actually found this report while searching for her info to refer to a friend who is in love with my dog!

Really, A Doberman?

I may have been interested before, but am really interested now. Let me know when this woman starts microchipping the companion animals she sells. I work with Doberman Rescue. I wonder how many of her dogs I have seen in the shelters? KS and OK ain't that far apart, folks.

I had a fabulous experience with Rinay. I would buy another puppy from her in a minute. I have a beautiful, healthy, well-socialized Doberman and have recommended her to anyone who will listen!

I owe the second susposed to have been stolen dog.

I am a personal friend of Rinay and have bought a dog from her. My dealings with Rinay are proof that she is a fine upstanding person and breeder. The situation was as follows: Rinay and I were each buying a pup from Connie and since we worked together, we had Connie ship the puppies together. Rinay was nice enough to spot me the $ to buy my pup so the cashiers check sent by Rinay was for an amount to cover both animals.
When the pups arrived, Rinay's was an inferior animal and mine was perfect. Rinay stopped payment on the cashiers check and I paid Connie for my pup a few weeks later. Connie sued Rinay and ME even though I had paid her the agreed $ for my pup. So 2 pups were NOT stolen. And Rinay did pay Connie at a later date for her pup but at a reduced cost since the pup was inferior. Rinay is not a a scam artist in any way.

Why Would A Great Breeder Purchase ANY Puppy

that she/he had NOT seen, had NOT met the parents of, had NOT checked the conditions where the puppy was being kept. Bad bite or no, you are NOT a good breeder, no matter how many years you have been breeding.
As for the orignal poster, ALL companion animals should have a microchip and the original owner's name should stay on the information as an additional contact. Just be prepared to rescue when the animal shows up in a shelter.

I AM NO SCAM ARTIST
AUTHOR: Rinay - (U.S.A.)

I am no scam artist, nor did I steal anything. I bought a puppy from Connie Baughman that was supposed to have a good bite. When I received the puppy, her bite was awful. So bad, I did stop payment on the check. I did tell Connie to refund my shipping money and the pup would be sent back, she refused. In the long run, we went to court, AND I WON!. I had pictures of the bad teeth and the judge agreed that Connie misrepresented the pup to me, and sold me a poor quality pup. I should sue her for slander. I have bred and sold dogs for over 20 years and have never had a problem. I am a respectful and decent breeder. I am outraged at this slanderous attack and it is all a lie. I don't even know where the microchipping came in to the picture. The pup was never microchipped nor was it discussed. Connie just flat lied!!!!!
