Rio Transportation Driver supposedly called Adam Took money for a return transfer from airport and did not turn up for return. Orlando Florida

Myself and my family got into a marked taxi at Orlando international airport. We paid for a return fare as this was supposedly a cheaper option however the driver did not turn up for the return journey. All contact details we were given are false. The website and email address does not exist and the numbers given go to voicemail or once again do not exist. This was a marked taxi, in the taxi stand at the airport and the driver also had an ID badge. We are extremely annoyed that scammers have access to the airport as we were told all taxis in the stands are legitimate and did not think for one minute that people would be able to scam us. Not only did we pay this money to the scam artist but we have then had to pay more money to get back to the airport, resulting in nearly 200 dollars of fees. We are extremely dissapointed that these type of people are able to operate from the taxi ranks and would have thought their would have been proper monitoring of the individuals who work from here. Please avoid any taxi supposedly from Rio Transportation. The driver was a man roughly in his 50’s and like I said carried ID and looked legit. He stated his name was Adam however I highly doubt he would have given his real name. This has ruined our holiday knowing that people can freely scam you and get away with it and we are aware the chances of us getting our money back are slim to none. The numbers given were 321-437-6510 (drivers personal number supposedly) 407-404-8607 for the company (number doesn’t exist) and the address I found online is 2121 S Hiawassee Road, Orlando, FL, 32835
