Ritz Craft Passing the buck, won't honor craftsmanship Mifflinburg Pa
*REBUTTAL Owner of company: Ritzcraft ctaft may not be the only one at fault
For the lsat few years we've been passed off or ignored about things in the home and we are the original owners and the house is less than 10 years old. We have cabinets with no doors because they keep falling off. We've called and emailed and begged for help and they keep passing the buck. Our home looks like it's falling apart and it's embarrassing. Literally we have open cabinets and no doors because they are in pieces! We've had some come right off the wall. I wish I could post photos on here.

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company
Ritzcraft ctaft may not be the only one at fault

This not really a rebuttal but suggestions!
Greetings all, First I am in no way affiliated with Ritz craft nor am I an owner of one of their homes, although , I am considering having a home built by them. Anyway your complaint involves kitchen cabinets that are falling apart in less then 10 years along with other things not stated. What other problems are you having? As for the cabinet construction itself ,it may not be the full responsibility of Ritz craft but of a cabinet manufacturer. However cabinets falling off a wall is their responsibility because they are the ones who installed them ,that is if they where attached when the home was delivered. Now if they were installed after delivery it is the responsibility of the contractor who setup the home. Either way Ritzcraft should have responded to your complaints in someway, shape or form and taken care of this.
Was there a warranty for the house should anything arise in the craftmenship of your home? And if so how long? How many years did you own the home before having issues? As for The cabinets falling off the walls, that is a dangerous situation and Ritzcraft should have resolved this problem. One way to see who constructed the cabinets is to look on the doors or the inside of the cabinet itself to see if there is a name of the manufacturer. If so I would contact them too. The golden rule for this generation is to accept the fact that just about everything made these days do not have the quality or craftsmanship like many moons ago hence we will not be so disappointed or stressed out. And remember that It is only the wealthy that can afford the best and get the best.
Are the cabinets doors actually broken or could they be glued and put back together? You stated the doors are off, can they be screwed back on or is the holes where the screws go in Stripped and too large to screw back on.
BTW is there anything in your house that you are happy with? My advice to you is send a letter, not an email, to the President and make sure it is a certified letter that has to be signed for. Sometimes it takes someone at the top to get results and hopefully Ritz craft will correct the problem. If that does not work contact an attorney ! Good luck!
