Ritz Furniture Emporium recliner broke within first week, refused to take back Lynnwood, Washington
*REBUTTAL Owner of company: Buyer's remorse
We bought two recliners here and one broke the first week. DON'T shop at this place. The owners refuse to stand behind their poor quality products and the customer service is horrendous. It's been months and I m still trying to resolve this.
Our older recliners lasted for ten years and we didn't pay as much as these folks were charging. We are not wealthy people, so $1,900 is a lot for us and were hoping these recliners would last a good long time like our older ones did.
Take your business somewhere else.

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company
Buyer's remorse
AUTHOR: Cathy - ()
SUBMITTED: Thursday, July 25, 2013
Mr. K**** claimed that the merchandise he received was “not as described or defective” because of an allegedly loose or otherwise broken handle on one of the recliners. However, Ritz Furniture Gallery has gone above and beyond the stated and agreed policy by twice offering Mr. K**** to send a furniture technician to his home (at his convenience and at no charge) to evaluate and repair his recliner (if necessary). However, he has refused all of our offers of assistance.
UPDATE: Mr. K**** took Ritz Furniture Gallery to small business claims court on 1/31/2013 and the judgment ruled in Ritz Furniture Gallery’s favor. We feel that Mr. K****’s complaint is not a matter of dissatisfaction of the product itself but simply a case of buyer's remorse, or he would not have resisted having a technician to come out to his home (at no charge and at his convenience) to simply inspect the recliner.
