I had an interview with this company 3 months ago and found a GREAT way to avoid being ripped off - I didn't sign up for their services and I didn't give them any money! It's too bad other people who had similar reservations didn't do the same.

I can say this - if they're bankrupt now, it doesn't seem like ANYONE came out ahead in this situation, Mr. Schwartz included. From my experience meeting with him, he definitely seemed to have a genuine interest in helping people and helping them find jobs and even showed me a binder full of "thank you" letters from people he's helped. I actually liked the guy, but in the end, his services were not for me.

This company did not seem like it was out to "scam" or hurt anyone. Their receptionist is a friend of my family - and that's how I heard about Robele in the first place. Now, she's out of a job, too - but she still speaks highly about the people who worked there and how hard everyone tried to make the company succeed.

If you gave them a check within the last 30 days you should be able to contest it with your bank or go through other legal channels to get your money back. I feel bad for everyone involved. A sad situation. Good luck.
