Last year this person scammed me of $4000 cash.
The artist wristbands were collected in front of us at Coachella Will Call. Their tactic was to report it lost/stolen later in the day and had it reissued and we were left with dud non scanning wristbands.
Apparently this happens a lot. We were totally at a loss and in the middle of extensive travel plans and from out of town.
The fraudster’s phone no was a permanent no (310) 279-7590 and apparently his name is Roberto Lobeira (pictured)
If anyone as info about this fraudster or his employer or know his colleagues please let me know by email. Many thanks and spread the word about this to people who might be buying artist passes.
A real lesson for us on paying cash and buying these passes on CL. If buying them my advice would be eBay.

Rebuttal is nonsensical

The excuse of ID being stolen is nonsensical. Eye witness reports clearly identify the individual pictured. Police methods backtraced his cell phone records and identified Roberto Lobeira. All communication for the sale was with his registered number. He arrived in a white SUV and was met up with twice.
Prior to posting the Ripoff report Legal Counsel directly reached out to his number with text messaging and messages were read and non response was forthcoming. The rebuttal is purely to face saving purposes. If you wish to have the complaint removed then settle the stolen money.

Its been very uncomfortable seeing online on this site as well a CL as this supposed individual saying that I coominted a Fraud, for me it has been very frustrating to take legal action against somebody because I dont have a name to reply to
one person is accusing me that i comited fraud regading some tickets which is completeldly absurd and untrue.
one year and ahalf ago during coachella festival, as every year (i get my tickets directly from the promotor company, those tickets are not for sale, I get them because working on the same industry. I have been getting my same tickets for the past 1o years!!!!! why would I be doing a fraud, besides my reputation talks about me in this industry.
Last year after coachella weekend 1 my phone was taken from an artist trailer which as being charged there, my phone and id was in the case.
After that weekend I personally reported the missing phone to the promotors, explained the situation on what had happened .
On second weekend, when I went to pick up my credentials I was held a little longer than usual, showed my passport and had delivered my credentials, after that I has told that someone posed as myself picked up credentials on wednsday. Im positive that those credentials were missused and sold undr my name!!!! because the wristband have a serial number and name.
I really need your help or a contact of a person who can talk to my lawyer or myself to clear this situation.
I have proof of every detailed email explaining the situation to the promotor company, ticket co, goldenvoice etc.
My reputation with the company is flawles
please lt me know how should I proceed
