Rockford Towing Ever thought you had your car stolen? I DID! By Rockford Towing! One MASSIVE panic attack after another trying to find my car... Rockford Illinois

I'm not even particularly sure how to begin to explain the havoc that ensued last night due to Rockford Towing. I went out to downtown "let's revitalize" Rockford with some friends whom I haven't seen in quite awhile. The evening was fantastic. We caught up on old times, sang, danced. It was all quite lovely, UNTIL, you guessed it, we left and went to go get the car. Imagine my shock and horror when I could not find my car!!!!

Ok, don't panic right away. Maybe we did park somewhere else. It happens. Especially, in downtown Rockford. Well, I did the cursory look about and no car. I had a massive panic attack because I thought my car had been stolen. That was the only explanation for my missing car and I was primed to call the police in all my panicky crying glory. My friends and I went back into the establishment we were at and in the midst of all my panic, I was informed that it was most likely towed by Rockford Towing. What???

There was no visible no parking signs. NOTHING! For crying in the night(both literally and figuratively)why would I intentionally park my car in a tow away zone. Answer: I wouldn't! I don't have a spare $125 just sitting around. I was lucky to afford a night out with friends in the first place. In my opinion, Rockford Towing stole my car and held it for ransom. When I went to pick it up, wow, it was hands down the scariest place I have ever been in Rockford.

First of all, finding this place is a joke. I had to call for directions because it is basically a creepy little hidden shanty that would be a perfect setting for a slasher flick. Second, the guy working there was a jerk and the I had to sign off on incorrect paperwork to get my car back! They had the wrong model and color and I had to sign off that there was no damage from the tow. What???? I couldn't even SEE my car until I signed the paperwork.

I was so upset and intimidated that I signed it and got my car. I noticed they don't tell you their name. The guy never said his name and the paperwork only has his ID number which is 831. Needless, to say my night was ruined, today was ruined, and the repercussions from this on my finances are devastating as I am one of the many struggling to get by in this economy. Rockford Towing needs to be put out of the trolling for victims business. I will no longer be helping the struggling downtown area when I can support the businesses in my neck of the woods.
