RODEO FORD OF PLANO SOLD ME A FAKE ROUSH STAGE-1 F-150 TRUCK PLANO Texas

I can't beleive that anyone who hears one of Rodeo Ford's comercials would step foot in this place. What a name for a car dealer. This dealership used to be own by a dignified man when it was called Middlekauf Ford.

For SOME reason, the customer THOUGHT he was buying a roush pick up. I wonder why he thought that? Of course the dealer did not to correct the buyer's belief. What do they say, let the buyer beware. I like the way, in the rebuttal, the dealer comes back with, "We bough another dealer's inventory", thereby washing their hands of any wrongdoing and also throwing in "We fixed his leaky sunroof for free". What a guy.

I am an employee of Rodeo Ford of Plano who was acquainted with this car deal from start to finish. I do not feel that at any time during the sale that it was presented as being anything other than what it was. The fact of the matter is that Rodeo Ford bought out Middlekauff Ford and inherited their inventory. This truck was sitting on the lot with no addendum sticker listing the items on it as being a conversion package, and that may be our fault.

However, I'm pretty sure that the window sticker wa reviewed, and it listed it as a regular F150 FX2. He also knew it was a 4.6L engine, and the fact that it did not have a supercharger would be readily apparent to anyone with as much knowledge about performance vehicle as this gentleman claimed to have throughout the sales process. The wheels on the truck weren't even Roush wheels, nor was there a certificate of authenticity or interior serial plating or badging... despite all this he agreed that it was a unique and beautiful vehicle.

When the gentleman left the lot he was very happy with the purchase and it wasn't until the aftermarket sunroof leaked during a storm that he began to question whether or not it was a Roush vehicle. We happily fixed it for him under warranty but by then he had decided that we had ripped him off and asked to bring the truck back.

Of course it was in our best interest to try and work something out with him. Who wouldn't? When he turned down our first offer he started threatening with a law suit and posted the Rip Off Report.

We ended up throwing out the contract on the truck and he promised to update his Rip Off Report, which he has not done. We did not have to do that. When it comes down to it, we had a signed contract and could have fought him in court. The truck is here on our lot, and has never been titled.

We have yet to see him update his report.
