Roommate Express is a fraudulent company. I signed up with them On March 28, 2013 to find a roommate for me starting July. I called them in June and they so called activated my account for people looking for roomates in July. I have not had anyone call me to inquire about renting a room. They said they have a one time fee of $49.00 for the person looking for a roommate. They charged my credit card again today on July 19,2013. I have reported this fraudulent charge to my bank and they are working on it. I also cancelled my debit card, so no further charges from them can happen.
