La Rosa Del Monte Express moving company was hired to move furniture from New York to Florida. The furniture was destroyed and items are missing.
When confronted they replied that the furniture was low quality and there were no missing items. They refuse to pay damages or address this issue with us.

This client had a claim on a move performed by our company. The claim was made on delivery of her goods on 4/01/03. Her complaint was posted her on 4/08/03!
The client writes that "The furniture was destroyed and items are missing". In actuality one mirror was broken, two tables had minor damage, and one box that the client packed arrived with something broken inside. Nothing was missing.
We have sent various letters to the client in which we have explained that we will either repaired the damaged items or reimburse her the insurance value that were placed on the items. The first letter sent was dated 4/08/03 and the second 6/06/03.
She has never responded to our inquires with a final decision on how to proceed. The file has been kept open and she finally responded on 6/20/03 when we called her to follow up. The client agreed to have the furniture repaired and delivered as soon as the work is completed.
In rare occasions claims occur and when they do occur we respond to our client's as quickly as our clients allow us too.
