Roto-Rooter plumbing & drain service Deceptive Practise Santa Fe, New Mexico

I was led to believe sewer service to be  performed will be a major task at a cost of $3500.  Work would proceed only after I signed a contract for this amount.  Sensing the amount may bed  i nflatged, I called a trusted plumbing co. and was informed the amount was fair.  I did not know the co. had just merged with Roto_Rooter.  Surprise--the work took two men only 3 and one half hours which makes the charge at $1000 per hour.  A plea for an adjustment resulted  in a check for only $50.  This price gouging may have been done in a legal manner but the decption was certainly real.
