Royal Dutch Gardens Two plants arrived in flimsy, torn plastic envelope. One almost dead. The other, an expensive tree peony, had a broken tuber, thus won't survive. Bloomington Illinois
I just received two plants I ordered from Royal Dutch Gardens.
They were in a flimsy, plastic envelope which had big holes torn in it.
One plant was close to dead but may survive. The other, an expensive tree peony, had come loose from its packing. Its tuber was broken in half so it cannot survive.
I received plants last year from this company, at a very late date for my location, which were also packed terribly.
After reading the reviews I will not bother to ask for a replacement of the peony, and will never order from them again.
They have a wonderful plant selection, but why don't they spend a bit more on secure packaging as other plant suppliers do?
