RR& G Consultants and John King CP Investors Threatened court charges for bogus claim Fayetteville North Carolina

My daughter just received a call from John King, 910-427-0685 who stated he was a Litigation Manager for RR & G Consultants, Riegelwood, North Carolina and he was trying to resolve a case for CP Investogrs, a 2nd party lender for a payday loan. He was threatening her with felony charges to be filed in our county, but he was willing to settle a $1440 bill for $740.  After she became upset, I took over the conversation and asked him to provide me via email documentation to substantiate his request for payment.  He told me he would not show me any documentation because that was not his job.  His job was to tell my daughter what he was going to do. 

I told him that my daughter never received a payday loan, but we could travel to Riegelwood to view his documentation.  I told him that my daughter had a very distinct signature and after checking with Bank of America we would see how best to handle this complaint.  Mr. King refused for us to travel the 1 1/2 hours to Riegelwood (showed up on the phone ID).  He stated he would close out the account.

If this had been a legitimate complaint, he would have been happy to show us his documentation.  He assumed because my daughter was young, he could just intimidate her and she would rush to send him money to a company that does not exist on the internet and whose primary company is noted for scams such as this.
