Melanie with RU New Pilot Car emailed us on 1/20/16 requesting a pilot car to assist her on an oversized load. Melanie told us to submit our invoice to Aveda Transport for payment. Invoice was submitted by us to Aveda on 1/21/16.
30 days later, we called Melanie, who informed us that they had not been paid for their portion either. That was the last time we spoke with anyone from their company.
A few weeks later, I email Aveda asking about our payment status. We were informed by their accounting department that RU New Pilot Car was compensated for our work. We then tried emailing, calling, and texting Melanie to inquire about the money owed to us. We have not, to this day, heard a word from her or anyone from RU New Pilot Car. We have tried contacting Aveda to put pressure on RU New, but have not received a response from them either.
The total amount owed to us from RU New Pilot Car is $450.00.
