On March 08, 2008 I ordered (and paid) for a large area rug from RUGUSA.COM which was to ship in 3-7 days. On the 6th day after PAYING FOR THIS RUG I had not received a tracking number so I contacted customer service Daniel informed sometimes it takes longer, WOW what great help there!!!!! Two more days no tracking number called customer service. This time the operator informed me that the rug that I ordered was BACKORDERED AT LEAST A MONTH (Guess Daniel was right sometimes it takes longer..DDDUUUHHHHHHH).
I informed the operator that I had no intentions of waiting over a month (or a month period) for a rug that should have been on its way already ESPECIALLY SINCE NOONE SEEMED TO THINK THAT MAYBE THEY SHOULD CONTACT ME TO SEE IF I EVEN WANTED TO WAIT I was told that I would receive a refund within 3 business days. OK order was placed March 08 we were at March 17 now.
Today is March 25 NO REFUND NO RUG and I have not been allowed to speak with a supervisor being told well, uhhhh I would have to text on or they would want to know what this about so youll have to explain to me first or my favorite well, it all depends on the manufacture.HHHUUUHH??? My credit card shows the payee as RUGSUSA.COM. Not to mention the countless unanswered e-mails that I sent to them.
This morning I was told well, let me call the manufacturer then call you back and well go from there. YEAH YOU DO THAT. After hanging up with them I filed a dispute with my credit card company. Dont waste your time with this place. I placed an online review at their website which was not favorable and they didnt even publish it. Not to mention.I got the EXACT SAME RUG elsewhere CHEAPER.it shipped out the next and was at my house within 5 business days.

Dear Editor -
Our customer placed an order on March 8th 2008 for a Home Dynamix area rug for $109.99 and was given a 10% coupon which brought it to 98.99. The item was on back order and she was informed via email of the delay. She was also given the option to cancel her order for a full refund. This is standard policy at Rugs USA.
Initially our customer requested to keep the order on hold but then called to cancel on the 19th of March . We informed her that it would take up to a seven business days for the credit to appear on her card depending on the bank.
The fact is that we had a constant series of emails and voice conversations with our customer and that upon cancellation her money was refunded as per our policy.
As to her finding this rug for less on another site we do and have always had a price match policy where we beat any competitor by 10%. She was welcome to use this on top of the 10% coupon .
