On Nov 14, 2005, I ordered a 2.3L engine for a Mazda 3 04 for the amount of $1,300. My card was immediately charged $1,403.50!

I called back to claim the difference and was told that they would refund me the difference for it. This after about 12 phone calls and about 10 hang ups from different people in the company. Today is Dec 13th and I have yet to receive the refund OR the engine!!!

I have contacted Scott, Joyce and even have spoken to the owner of the company, let me just say that customer service is NON-EXISTENT in this company starting with the owner!

I have called over 35 times in the last 3 weeks and EVERY single time I call I get a person that in the middle of me talking either hangs up on me or transfers me to another person who does the exact same thing!

The very few times, 3-4 out of the many I have called, that I have been able to talk to Scott I get the same thing; "The engine was sent out alredy and it's in FL." Well, funny enough I call back a few days later and get told that, first time: "Apparently it was sold to someone else , but we got u another one" Second time: " It left last week." Third time: " Well, it will be on it's way tomorrow." This one after being told it was already in FL. Then talked to the owner who is just as rude as a business owner could possible be, and get told that it will be sent in the next day or so.

For some odd reason they can not provide me with a tracking number for a $1,300 purchase, $1403.50 actually, but I can track a USPS 37 cent letter to anywhere in the world! When asked for a tracking number Scott gave me a number (6 digit number) that when I called the company that supposedly was the carrier for the engine, they said they had no clue what that number was for since they did not use 6 digit numbers for tracking.

A comlaint has been filed with the AG's office in NY as well as the BBB. And my credit card has been adviced to investigate and withdraw charges.

Hi Jorge- These crooks stole $6,000 of my daughter's money days before closing the company. The owner of S & J, John Bardino is now running Thoroughbred auto parts located at the exact address of S & J. Charles Bardino owns Bardino Motors also located at the exact same addres. Charles Bardino is also the registerd owne of a 27 ft. yacht named "EMPTY POCKETS." I can only encourage you to notify the FBI through their internet fraud site. I will include the information to the FBI web site. I would be interested in talking to you. God Bless! Momma Bear

Complaints of Internet fraud are processed by our Internet Crime Complaint Center

If I could get a hold of a human being....

If I could actually talk to someone and get something done I would. But it's of no use to "cancell" because #1 they will not speak to me, I get a "hang on sir" followed by a nice click (Hang up) every time I call, or following up to 32 minutes of hold time, then they hang up or send me straight to a voice mail that no one responds to. #2 I have been trying to get back the $103.50 that I was overcharged from them from day 3 of the transaction and I haven't gotten a penny back so imagine trying to get back my $1403.50! That is why I just contacted my bank and I just rather deal with them and get the charges withdrawn.

I also contacted some lawyers in NY to see if a class action lawsuit could be placed.

From what I have read about these losers, you will not get what you paid for anyway. Most likely it will be a bad engine, or missing parts, or the wrong motor entirely. You would be better off getting one locally, it may be more money, but better than being ripped off by these assholes.
