I made an appointment as a new patient because of a mild toothache. They took x-rays and started to clean my teeth before I protested. I did not give my consent to either of the procedures. I could forgive some type of miscommunication, but they charged me anyway. When I paid the bill it was not itemized, just a dollar amount. I had to request an itemized list. They refused to give me a copy of the x-rays I didn't consent to, but did pay for. I had to wait for them to make a copy even though I told them I was going to another dentist.
It's not a ripoff, but when I finally saw the dentist she was very haughty and recommend many questionable (to me) procedures. It's not like I would trust this lady anyway, but it was consistent with my impression of her business. It was like working with a car dealer and having to be hawkish in making sure they don't slide in extra fees. This is not the type of person that I could trust in business, and certainly not someone I would trust to make decisions regarding my health.

I have been in the dental field for over 30 years, I see people like you all the time.
First of all you went there with a tooth ache, now unless this dentist has x ray vision which I know she doesn't, how the hell was she to diagnose your problem let alone treat you with out xrays? More times times then not the infection can be in many area's of your mouth not just one tooth. So unless you expected the dentist to just guess what was going on in your mouth, the x rays were necessary. You had a tooth ache not a broken jaw, so at any time you felt she was doing something you didn't want done you could have said -------->>>>>>> NO! STOP!
Another thing ! I bet you hadn't been to a dentist in 5 years or more that is why you had a tooth ache.
must be nice getting something for nothing.

My family has been using Dr. Christman for years and are very happy with her services. There are really bad dentists in the area. However, she is not one of them. Mark could have been a drug seeker with a mouth full of bacteria. I would have pulled an ex ray on him as well. Remember, Mark, "crack is whack".
