My wife and I bought an Southwind Class A RV. The seller told us he didn't use the heating because he was worried about a leak in the propane system. We took it to Safari Stores in Reno, to have the heating system fixed. They told me they pulled the heater and it was fine. They also said they were required to do a gas line check at additional cost and that was fine. They charge $115 per hour. They worked on it for approx. 1hr and 15 minutes as I asked them why the $274 and they told me they charged for 2hr plus the rest for the gas leak check and they filled the half empty propane tank. So even though I felt overcharged then I paid and left. But when we got home we smelled propane, I just considered they had work on the gas lines and it was residual left over. So we plug it in and left it alone for a couple of months until we were going to use it. All the time I'd occasionally smell propane but I had just had that fixed so I let it go until I notice when we were leaving with the RV the gas reader said I was only half full. We couldn't use the RV because we still had the gas leak. I called them and they told me they would fix it. We returned with the home and within 5 minutes they had found a leaky propane valve. They told me it would cost me $40 bucks for the part( about 30% higher than anywhere else I find) and another $115 dollars to put it in. Plus all the gas would have to be purged and refilled. That is a cost of around $200 dollars for the 2 tanks of propane this would eventually cost. I complained about him not standing behind his work he said too bad. So I called him a thief and started to leave, the owner followed me out of the door calling an old man and threatened to kick my a*s....... Which the skinny office slug would have relized was a mistake had it gone that way, but all the way to my RV he was threating me. So that is what you can expect for customer service and workmanship if you use Safari Stores and complain because they rip you off with over charges and very poor service and no customer service. The owner Kevin has a supercilious attitude regarding old people and will attack you if you complain. This is a warning it cost me a lot of money to find this out so please be advise and save yourself this type of no service and possible bodily harm.
