Safety Auto Glass _ Houston Did not properly put in a windshield. Leaked and caused major damage to my car. Houston Texas

I originally had a windshield installed on1/10/08. Everything seemed fine, until 9 days later we had a rainstorm and I went out to find my Lincoln Mkx floorboard engulfed with water. I noticed that the water was coming from the bottom of my dashboard near the parking brake. I went on to discover that all of my electrical components on the car were blinking, beeping, and basically going haywire. This is a $50,000 car basically breaking down before my eyes.


I immediately contacted the windshield company. The supervisor ,Patrick Jones, contacted me and asked if he could come out and see the car on Sunday, personally. After arriving, he looked at the window, sat inside the car, and explained to us they would stand by their work. He asked if we would allow them to replace the windshield in the morning and they would immediately be able to tell if the damage came from the windshield.

Monday morning they came to my work replaced the windshield, and the technician told me there was a "void" in the windshield which caused the leakage. I then contacted the Patrick and he assured me he was talking with the owners about the situation. He told me turn the car in and they would cover all expenses when fixed. I told him I needed them to secure a rental for me. He asked to call me back in 10 min.

I then contacted my insurance, when they called they said I left my window down and they were done with anything further. The car is in the shop now, and will be lucky if it is not totalled. My insurance is running diagnostic tests on the car to prove this comapny at fault.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! BEWARE they ruined my $50,000 car and are accepting no responsibilty. I guess they don't realize a company is only as good as their reputation and the truth will come out in the end. All damage is to floorboard and electrical, this isn't from a open window.
