My personal truck went in for inspection, NOT a commercial vehicle, and the total cost was close to $1700 for inspection. The truck is an 04 and had roughy 50k miles on it. It was always serviced at the dealer, never had any problems. All of the sudden I need new this and new that. I paid for it and will NEVER go there again.
On another note, if you are making any type of agreement with this person make sure you get a signed and notarized contract because the owner has intermitent fits of amnesia if you get what I'm saying.
