Just to inform anyone looking for him, he has left the swan, i think in June.
I believe he is in Leed's or Huddersfield somewhere, I know he wont go far, because his daughter is pregnant !
I also know he has a house in Leed's, but again, unfortunatly I dont know where, but surly he cant be that hard to find,
anyway of checking the electoral roll ?

I will keep this one short and sweet for the moment as I am awaiting some legal
documentation, and then all cards will be put on the table.
I had to first of all try and stop my sides from splitting when I read the rebuttal from
Sam Wilson. Firstly for him to tell the truth would be an all time first. Secondly
for him to try and patronize me in the way he did, during another pack of his lies he
has put over on the Internet. Under another disguise if it's not Ketchman now it is james 007
and now probably jim the chef Thirdly another changing of the goal-posts, now I was
allegedly on a franchise at the Academy, that is a new one to me. And lastly to
Jim the Chef, you are obviously deluded, or have been manipulated by Wilson to
write your little one liner in defense of your employer. Believe you me your opinion
will change in a very short space of time. I do not lie, and I have no reason to lie.
Wilson also manipulated me into writing my resignation, as he was standing over me
virtually dictating what he wanted me to write, in return he was going to tell me
where my stock and equipment was. That did not happen, as soon as I hit the send
button, he then said I have no idea where all your gear is. I also lent him money,
paid the 4 guys wages at the wrong way round driving range. left behind a very good digital
DVD camera and all was promised to be paid and returned. I sent him an email on my return
for the return of the money and camera. And guess what Jim the Chef, his email was
one sentence, Fictitious statements, I have nothing more to say, put everything through his
lawyer, who was even more bent than he was. But a copy of my next email will
be sent to the organ grinder at Marston's Brewery as I gave solid information to
the monkey, and it seems Sammy boy has him in his pocket. So we will be giving him
short shrift next time. And going straight to the top as soon as I have all the necessary
documentation and affidavits verified by my lawyer

I have worked for Sam for some time now and he has been the best employer I have had in 15yrs, I'm sure I speak for many others when I say this. What has been said on this site has never affected me or even makes any sense as Sam is one of the most honest and genuine people I have ever met, he has more experience and knowledge than most from which I have had the honour of experiencing first hand.
As an employee and friend I have agreat deal of respect for Sam and his wife, never having experienced any problems what so ever with myself, my family or colleagues. It seems many are basing their comments on false accusations and rumours. Obviously there are bitter people out there,

Again, fans, my name is Rob Engle and I'm finding the need to weigh in again regarding the scoundrel Sam Wilson and his latest, lame attempt at defending his illegal dealings and dirty deeds and the reason being that Wilson wouldn't know the word truth if it slapped him in the face because he's a lifelong pathological liar.

The reason Mr. Jim Fraser and myself have weighed in here are three-fold: one being that both of us were finagled into upsetting our lives and our businesses in our home countries under the lure of what's been proven to be Wilson's pyramid-scheme of a golf academy in Mexico, he attacked both of us personally and professionally after leaving his employ, and that he's used his fast-talk into continually living off someone else's money and savings and we (or at least I) find it our duty to warn others of his shady dealings.


The truth is that Wilson has, in one way or another, always denied any personal responsibility for anything that's happened regarding the so-called golf academy in Puerto Vallarta. Of course he does! That's his way of doing business, and how he's lived his life, totally deniability. But the REAL truth is that Wilson doesn't answer phone calls, or won't return the ones made to him, just as he does with his e-mails when he conveniently blocks certain addresses.

I won't reply relative to any of the lies and misstatements regarding Mr. Fraser's time at the academy or living under the same roof as the Wilsons other than to say that the home Wilson continues to reference, as he always has bragged about in the past as his own, is not owned by himself and was instead a rental. The rent for said home was paid out of the academy's monies. But having shared the same roof for my initial two weeks in Puerto Vallarta, I will attest that Wilson's wench (and partner in crime) Pauline did not clean for Mr. Fraser or wash is clothes: they had a maid (that was also paid out of academy monies), and the rental did not have laundry facilities.

When my wife and I, and our two smelly dogs, left our home and our jobs in the U.S. state of New Mexico we did so in our little truck loaded with our personal belongings including all my golf gear and tools -- and a loft/lie machine that Wilson had sent to me without my approval and then begged me into bringing into the country under the auspices of him not having pay import duties on it. The reason he did so was to avoid having to pay these import taxes, just like he avoided paying the import taxes on all of Mr. Fraser's materials as he'd promised. But the truth of the matter is that Wilson knew all along that all four members of our family were coming, and he offered us free lodgings just as he did Mr. Fraser but in our case it was just myself and my wife of 5 years along with our two small dogs (a Chihuahua, and a Rat Terrier) that were both clean, had all their shots, and both having their proper documentation papers to be allowed into Mexico, just as my wife and I both had our proper papers just to cross the border into the interior of the country.
After our initiall two weeks of hell living with the Wilsons, and their mutt of a hound named Faldo that bit my wife on the hand hard enough that the wound required extensive and repeated medical attention (and she problems with to this day because of scar tissue) and who also continually harassed our two small harmless dogs we obtained our own rental housing to get away from him and his perverted jokes and gags, and his hag, and his mutt.
This is when the second red flag went up for us, his willingness for us to move; the first being a few days before when Wilson informed us one evening over dinner that he'd been a member of the famous rock-&-roll band Fleetwood Mac as their lead bass guitarist (anyone having any knowledge of the group would know that the band was NAMED after it's two founding members, drummer Mick Fleetwood and bassist John MacVie - Fleetwood for Mick, Mac for John).
But I can say that any references to me being asked to leave because of my drinking are not only extremely exaggerated, they are out and out lies, since I have long been a bit of a tee-totler and limit myself to two drinks an evening and only drink on weekends when I'm not working the next day. Even then it's not like I'm a regular drinker, and anyone that knows me personally knows that my beverage of choice is Pepsi unlike Wilson who prefers hard liquor, preferably that someone else has paid for.

Any reference to my so-called shoddy workmanship was likely in reference to the shoddy materials (low quality clubheads and shafts) Wilson obtained for the academy to build for customers. This was my final straw, and the final red-flag, when doing the best I could with the junk I was given (you can dress up a pig, but at the end of the day it's still a pig) as I wasn't being paid at the rate we'd negotiated, Wilson always saying he had money "coming", nor what was promised under contract and coming after a series of secret meetings with a number of the majority shareholders in the establishment, and finally resulted in my starting to make arrangements to open our own shop.

Our golfshop was never closed down as a result of any actions by the authorities, though we were constantly harassed by plants who came into the shop under Wilson's urgings, or as a result of his multiple baseless lawsuits filed for him by pro-bono attorneys. We were forced to defend ourselves several times, and did so successfully every single time because all the accusations were deemed irrational and baseless. We simply got tired of the harassment, and came to realize that the clubmaking business was not a viable entity in Puerto Vallarta (a American tourist town -- and tourists don't buy golf clubs, they just play golf at resort courses).

Unless Wilson himself was stalking us how would he know of the date we left the country? Quite simply, he did not!
Nor did we have any part in any alleged poisoning of his mutt Faldo, or could we have had any part in the alleged slashing of his truck tires since his truck (the new Ford Lobo/F150 that was also obtained using monies of the academy) being as he kept it at their rental in a gated/locked garage. As far as the dead chicken allegation, all I can surmise is that since Wilson's rental was in a neighborhood with chickens constantly running about that it was the work of some of the neighborhood children playing a prank. But hearing this here is nothing new, every time you hear something from Wilson he has more lies he's made up about someone else (or himself).

The, again, so-called academy was not opened on the 1st of August of 2005 as he suggests, but instead never really opened at all though we did have a faux opening upon my arrival in November (held under the auspices of grinding out some more funding for the facility from the investors that lived in Vallarta) where he showered the investors with drinks at dinner one afternoon because the required business licenses were never obtained, nor were the proper building permits ever signed off on by the appropriate authorities.
He mentions specifically three partners on the academy, though in reality the number is closer to 20 total investors.
Yes, he had troubles with the unions in Mexico -- but it was as a result of not paying employees' wages, not paying employment taxes, and not paying Red Cross (health) taxes. He also had issues with the building contractor(s), yes, more than one, but that was also as a result of not paying off the contract or properly paying the wages of the workers.

Wilson was never the president of the facility, though he may have been in the whole little pyramid-scheme he fronted to lure additional monies out of an ever-growing number of investors, and he never resigned.
But instead just abandoned the facility one day and magically appeared a few days later in nearby Lake Chapalla, and at the golf club there that was in the process of trying to hire a golf professional a position Wilson applied for, and was turned down by their executive search committee because of the lies, non-factual material, unidentifiable contacts, and untraceable work history in his own supplied resume/PV. He then opened up his own golf shop in Lake Chapalla, with no clubmaking experience (other than the bits and pieces Mr. Fraser and myself passed onto him via osmosis, I suppose), under the banner of the Mexican Professional Golfers Association, who sued him to stop the reference. He did this, again, using monies he had left over from the academy in Vallarta along with funding he received from a few members at the Chapalla golf club. Sometime early in 2006 Wilson and his wife Pauline were detained by Mexican Immigration officials, and the pair spent 3 days and nights in jail awaiting deportation proceedings and/or court cases regarding their illegal business dealings in the country. A weekend guard mistakenly, perhaps not understanding the paperwork, allowed pair to go free and at that point Wilson sold the academy's pick-up truck to fund their return to the U.K. and the pair fled the Mexico in a matter of hours.

Wilson very well knows that the, again, so-called academy no longer exists and the building is a shell of itself, built on rented land the landowner has re-taken possession of, and that the grasses of the driving range are now overgrown with weeds. This was yet another part of his schemings, as he led investors to believe he had bought the land but just like the home he lived in, the land was a rental.

Wilson has never had ongoing contact with his mentioned investors as he owes them all hundreds of thousands of U.S. Dollars in his little pyramid scheme nor has he since returned to Puerto Vallarta as the Immigration officials would have detained him at the border as there is an open warrant for his arrest.

Wilson, yes I am reading this. I had a life before our ill-fated luring to a life in paradise, I was a college-educated and award-winning journalist before ever meeting you as well as being a documented professional clubmaker and instructor neither of which you can honestly say and I will have a life as long as I don't get within an arms length of you. The fact that myself and Mr. Fraser, along with several others, have chosen to call you out on your own dirty dealings is your fault and yours alone.

I find it laughable that Wilson had to sign-up for this website under the alias James007 - Puerto Vallarta, South America, Mexico and yet ironic that he calls others out for using weird aliases and hiding behind their computers as he is now doing. Again, another of the many Wilson identities and myths he has invented surrounding himself about himself.

The fact of the matter, Wilson, is that any allegations toward yourself about sexual deviancy, rip offs, false documentations, false credentials and the like are as a result of behaviors you have exhibited over a long period of time and many people out there have investigated and documented. These are not the allegations of a single person, but of many and amazingly, and ironically, the stories all sound exactly the same.

So now you're going to go with the same e-mail address for 15 years bit, yet it sounds like more lies since hotmail wasn't introduced worldwide until 1997 (that's just 12 years ago Sammy, it's easy to look up) but again, who would expect anything different from a man that used another man's name to suggest that he'd been a PGA professional and played in the British Open, say that he was a member of Fleetwood Mac, steal money from schoolchildren while once a teacher, take a runner out of South Africa under similar circumstances to leaving Mexico........ and now, funniest of them all, supposed total stomach removal due to cancer which even the most feeble minded would know to be impossible as one does not survive without being able to process foodstuffs.

Honestly, considering what Wilson has done to so many to aid in upsetting and ruining their lives, a case of stomach cancer isn't good enough. He needs to be behind bars, on a rack or waterboarded, for the rest of his time on this planet.

My name is Sam Wilson and I am the person reported in this story or stories. I wasnt going to rise to defending these reports, but it has to stop, so here is the realn truth.

Sadly they come from 2 main sources and although these 2 people have a right to vent their feelings, it is sad that they choose to twist the truth and bend everything out of shape to strengthen their aims.

Jim Fraser, well most of what Jim says is true and to this day I cant believe he is still hammering on about something that happened so long ago. It is true that Jim and I met and he did accept a franchise deal from the academy to come and work with us, not for us. His stock was impounded becasue of his own failure to complete the documentation correctly. We did try to help him get his stuff in to Mexico, but alas these attempts failed and Jim wrote me a final resignation letter. By the way all these letters, facts, dates, times and indeed names and addresses can be verified and even sent if I recieve any requests.

Sadly Jim did end up out of pocket, but these costings where in no way the responsability of the academy as our clear and detailed agreement (I have his copy for anyones perusal) show in black and white. Jim did return to the UK with a bad taste in his mouth but he has never contacted me personally, nor has he ever rung me to vent his anger. I was sad to read Jims report as it definately did not reflect the charachter or the man I once knew. He conducted himself in a fair way in Mexico and the time he and his lovely wife spent with us in our home prior and during his stay at the academy, certainly does not reflect the stories I am led to believe he has written. He is well capable of being irrational, but the times I saw this, was when they were directed to the Mexican authorities and not me or my good lady wife. He lived in our home rent free, my wife washed and cleaned for him and we fed him. I am not surprised that Jim has turned on me because i was the figurehead of the academy, but I have no axes to grind against him personally, if he has anything against me, I cant change that view but my address and phone numbers are well documented and I am not in Hiding.

Rob Engle, now this man comes from a different planet. almost everything that has been written about him, (incidently not by me) is only skirting the truth. He too was offered free board and lodgings by my wife and I but after he arrived with a lady friend, 2 smelly dogs and a truck full of stolen equipment that came from a golf shop in Hobbs New Mexico, we tired of him and threw him out. he was with the academy for 14 days untill we tired of his drinking and shoddy workmanship. He aquired money from a bent lawyer and an american investor and set up a back street shop which was closed down by the authorities soon after he opened it amidst complaints and several legal implications. I have no idea how or why he left Mexico, all i do know is that on the night he left, my pup was poisened with meat balls stuffed with costic soda, my truck tyres were slashed and the pathetic remains of a dead chicken were hung on my gate post. We know it was him becasue our neighbour saw his truck at 3 am outside my house and shortly after that, Faldo my dog began whelping in pain.

The academy was opened by me on the 1st of August in a fully operational way with no debts and devoid of any problems. I resigned my presidency shortly after that date because of an internal dispute with 2 of my partners (not because of reasons reported) and my wife and I retained 53% ownership of the academy as senior shareholders. 3 of my partners, Robin, Larry and Jose, took it upon themselves to run the academy. We did have troubles with the unions and it existence and future is in the balance, but to date none of my partners have come to me with anything regarding legal action. I am still in contact with all of them, in fact I get weekly e-mails regarding the academy and its future. Whether it is open, closed, or up for sale, is a matter for the board of the academy headed up by 3 well informed and very capable individuals alected by all of the existing partnership base, back in 2006.

My involvement with the academy is purely as a shareholder and it is highly unlikely i will be returning to Mexico any time soon. I still have my visa and work permits in tact, there are no warrents out against me and if there were, i would have been taken in as early as 4 months ago when i returned to Puerto vallarta on a weekly visit to deal with some personal stuff.

Engle if you are reading this, get a life. Jim If you are reading this, I simpathise with your disasterous dilema, but being vindictive against me is no way to be.

All these BS reports written about me are opinions written by people that hide behind a computer screen calling themselves weird aliases. If they had any evidence of wrongdoing, surely they would use their real names. I am using mine, Jim is using his, and Engle even uses his (allbeit probably one he invented because he arrived in Mexico with no papers)

It is very easy to sit down, invent a name and write crap about someone. Sad thing is that some readers actually believe it, such is the power of the internet. I have no doubt the above report is true, because it sounds hauntingly familiar with Samuel Herbert Wilson's activities in Mexico (and likely South Africa).

As someone that maintains a number of current close friendships with residents of Puerto Vallarta, I can say for a fact that the Puerto Vallarta Golf Academy is long closed: the windows on the building are broken, the electricity is turned off, weeds have overgrown the mown areas, and there are no employees or a "Director" of the facility as Ketchman alludes.
The property on which the academy building stood was on rented land, in a ghetto neighborhood outside PV, and has been taken back by the original owner of the property after Sam Wilson fell many months behind in paying the rent.
Chances are that Ketchman is just another alias for Sam Wilson, or Samuel Herbert Wilson, or any other alias the conman goes under today to avoid the authorities.

Personally, I have NEVER been charged with, or convicted of, a criminal offense in the United States of America.
I have never been employed by any so-called "time share scammers;" my working career was in the golf business (as an instructor and clubmaker) and as a journalist.
I was NEVER deported from Mexico, detained by any autorities there, nor was I charged with any crimes or arrested for any criminal activity during the time I resided in the that country. I actually still maintain an open passport.
And finally I was never fired as an employee of the Puerto Vallarta Golf Academy, nor was I ever accused of a "sexually devient act against a junior employee."
Quite simply I quit; because of the illegals acts, lies, thefts, and misrepresentations Sam Wilson instigated during my brief tenure at the Academy.
Immediately afterwards I opened my own business, Rocket Golf & Clubwerks, in the Plaza Marina in Puerto Vallarta - but chose to close the business at the urgings of personal friends and advisors because of the ongoing personal threats, libelous slanderings, and legal attacks Sam Wilson took against me was his own business crumbled around him, and returned I to the United States.

The "directors and board of the academy" (financial backers) had withdrawn their support of Sam Wilson after I myself had come forward to a consortium of those backers with testimomy backing their own beliefs that Wilson's academy was nothing more than a money pit and a way for him to scam additional funds from an on-going, ever-growing list of potential shareholders in the establishment -- or nothing more than a pyramid scheme of sorts. At that point they cut off the flow of cash to Sam Wilson.

The above listed posting(s) by Jim Fraser are 100% accurate relative to any information about Sam Wilson, and his own experiences working for the PVGA. I back them unoquivicably. It was through Mr. Fraser's and my contact, and his own investigative work in Europe, that we were able to piece together the real truth about Sam Wilson and what eventually helped force him out of Mexico. But this was not to be until Sam Wilson was himself, and his wife Pauline (who plays innocent, but is as much a crook as he is), were detained by Mexican Immigration officials before mistakenly being freed by an unwary jailkeeper over a weekend - at which time he fleed the country for Europe.

This past winter I was forwarded a Christmas greeting Wilson had sent to a number of contacts, since he's still under the impression he has friends out there, in which he bragged openly about he and Pauline's new Pub (location unknown). and recovering my goods. He also scammmed $50,000 from 3 guys
at Lake Chapala Golf Club in Guadilahara that I know of. He also
purportes to being an ex playing PGA golf professional another blatant
lie, the S. Wilson on the European PGA site is a Sandy Wilson who currently
is the Golf Pro at Stoke on Trent Golf Club. I have the verification from
The R & A at St Andrews Another one of his claims is that he is a PGA
registered teaching pro, another lie, the PGA have informed me that they
would be very interested in speaking to our Mr Wilson. and another claim
that he has been a Professional Clubmaker for over 30 years. I taught
him the basic skills at my workshop for a week in February 2005.
So even by my simple Maths that makes it just over 4 years.
And now thanks to your report with his new address I have informed
some of the Directors of the Puerto Vallarta Golf Academy of his new
address and have had two replies already. He has scammed these people
out of around $800,000 US dollars in Puerta Vallarta and is also wanted
by authorities in a few countries over his thieving and scams. It's funny
how you mention that they were away on a cruise. That is exactly what
they did whilst in Mexico, with the investors money. I am now tracking down
the company that own The Swan to alert them what they have at the helm.
And may even pop in for a visit to the Swan. Anyone having any dealings
or thinking about dealing with Wilson then just wave goodbye to your hard
earned cash. This guy is really the lowest scum of the earth. And has
scammed and stole peoples hard earned cash, and a good honest day's

As a former employee of Mr. Wilson's i can honestly say that this 'report' is based upon no evidence whatsoever and is comical in its portrayal of Mr. Wilson's behavior towards staff. As a local and ex employee of mr Wilson's i can confidently say that i received a high wage in comparison to other pub's in the area. It was stated in the report that 'He sexually harasses his staff' this is of course nonsense, possibly more wishful thinking on behalf of the employee!
Mr. Wilson is a shrewd, very capable businessman who, though he has the capability to upset people with his blunt manner, is a very caring man who clearly has the best interests of the community at heart.
It would appear the writer of the report is simply angry at losing his/her job. and is thus venting their frustration at Mr. Wilson.
