I was a loyal DN customer for 7 long years. In end of March 07 one guy called from marketing guru (affiliated with DN) and promissed me to give me an additional room with DN + Another extra asian channel + $ 10.00 per month discount for 10 month. I thought that is a good deal and confirm.

But catch was they have to create a new account for me with my wife's name and it will consider as a new account. He also told me that when the installer come to our house, we need to tell them that we just moved in this house and the both dishes in our back yard were from previous owner.

I thought something not right, but I thought also who cares as long as I get the deal. I wrote and called several time to DN the original # but that # was dinconnected. I started e-mail to them and they were telling me I need to contact the local installer. I finally got in touch with the local installer and they explained they get the authorization through the computer and they have no idea what I am talking about.

I asked them who had send the authorization to you and she gave me the name and # of the Marketing GURU and their # is 866 755 9008.

I called that # and talked to Britney, and she said nothing says in our computer that you should get the discount and the other promissed channels.

It is not a bad idea to go far a class action law S.

I recognize that number!

You were called by the Elephant Group, also known as E-Club. They are a corrupt marketing guru.

I sure hope you did not give them any personal information. They sell it. They are also known for selling your credit card number to other places that use their services, so you end up with fraudulent charges on your credit card.

If you gave them your credit card number or bank account information watch for charges that you are not familiar with. With a credit card you can back charge.

Their address is
901 Hadley Rd
South Plain NJ 07080

They like to sign up people for member services of E-Club and Blockbuster on line.

It will cost about $40 a month for both memberships you did not authorize.

You can report them to the attorney general of NJ

Illegal activity

What you agreed to do was obtain a service discount for new customers based on deception. You are due no money, and cannot win a lawsuit as you do not pass the "clean hands" test.
