Scit Scat Music agreen to sell me a microphone at a disounted price then refused to honor that price after the purchase was completed.  Lies and blames paypal for "being unable to refund".  Scam artist.

Here's one of the complete lies I pulled strait from the bbb.com site(where they are NOT accredited).  And for good reason.

"Comment from the Business:This "Customer" made 3 best offers which were all too low, and declined by our company. Later he states ok, what's the best you can do, after he purchases at full price. eBay, Paypal have all stated they are banning him for his actions on eBay, not just against our company, but 2 others. **** is a narcissistic, arrogant liar per eBay representative.by Business on Dec. 03, 2014"

First off paypal and ebay did not ban me or threaten to do so.  Fabrication 1.  Secondly, the suggestion that I contacted them after the sale with "What's the best you can do" is a blatant lie from Scot or maybe Sean.  At this point it doesn't matter which one of them it is.  They both work for the same seedy business they call Scit Scat Music.  What a stupid name for a business anyway.  Its no real surprise they act like children when confronted by someone who refuses to tolerate their BS.  I did make 3 offers which were all declined.  That part is right.  However, post sale they agreed to give me the Mic for a specific price.  So I purchased the product at the advertised price and simply asked that they refund the difference.

An easy fix.  It was something like a measly 10 dollars.  This is where the lies and fraud began.  They started off with an insult and said paypal wouldn't allow them to refund.  I called them out on this suggestion because paypal absolutely does offer the ability to partially refund and everyone knows that.  So right there I knew the type of person I was dealing with. A strait up idiot and a liar. But it did not end there.  They then said that they would only refund the difference if I left them good feedback.  I might have done it if they had apolgized for lying and trying not to honor the deal.  

But the way they went about it and based on reading other people experience with them I just could not do it. I refused to complete the transaction and instead contacted ebay to get my money return followed by leaving the appropriate negative feedback. Which is when they called up ebay and cried until the ebay simply didn't want to hear it anymore and the feedback was removed.  That's what happened.  That's how they deal with their problems.  Lying cheating and in my case, attempting to steal their own customers.. Some business model. Scit Scat Music is a joke!

That sure is quite a lengthy reply.  It's a very nice try.  Nevertheless the fact remains that this guy reneged on a deal that we both agreed to.  And then he hid behing ebay like a whiney little b*.  I pity this awful seller and the others he screwed over.  I've ordered hundreds of items online and my account is just fine.  Out of all the hundreds I've only had two real problems.  This guy and one other.  Both guys nearly identical in personality and in being a lying cowardly fraud.

Scot Katz, 

You are a cry baby.  You keep calling me a liar and a thief just like you accuse all your other complaining customers.  Instead of standing up like a man and facing your problems with customer complaints you run and hide like a little coward.  To be more specific you finagle the ebay and paypal system to get what you want.  And I will give you one thing, apparently your years of experience doing so has made your tactics a partial success.  But these types of things always catch up to you in the end pal.  You keep going on and on about the ebay offer system and you ignore the simple fact that:

 

You agreed to sell me a product for a specific price and RENEGED.  Nothing else matters.  So keep it up.  

You can make all the accusations you want, and nothing is going to change the fact that after I made the complaint, you agreed to honor the agreed upon price by refunding the difference after I left you feedback(which is extortion and despite the fact that you had already lied by stating paypal makes it impossible to partially refund) .  I left you the feedback you deserved and you ran and cried to ebay until they removed it.  Good for you crybaby!  Did you refund as agreed?  No.  For a second time you reneged on something you explicitely agreed to in writing.  So as I told you previously.  You can place the microphone right back up where all the other filth that comes out your little sewer of business.

 

Check out your own feedback.  Interesting that you have so many "Liars" "Jerks" and "Thieves" for customers.  I find that fascinating.

We have no flags on our account. It is actually you that is flagged by eBay. Hence they removed your lying negative feedback, and they closed out the case when you opened it for a refund. You lied to us and to eBay and now to the world. Ebay has your account under review and investigation, and will be removing you indefinitely.

Scit Scat Scammer Scott Katz continues his scummy tactics

Had to contact ebay to step in regarding my transaction with Scit Scat Music.  They informed me that this guy, Scott Katz already has red flags on his account and that he will be terminated shortly. Although I don't necessarily believe ebay will do much to stop him, it shows they are aware that his standards of conducting business are very poor and in my case, downright deceitful.  After looking at his negative feedback you can see where he lashes out at any customer who has even a minor problem.  He calls his own customers liars, thieves, jerks, amongst many other derogatory remarks.  This clearly shows that Scot Katz is the true liar and thief here, and this is what he does.  He cries and badmouths his own customers even when it is a legitimate complaint against him.  He also finagles ebay and paypal to get him his way.  Fortunately I knew better and called him out. Rather than owning up and facing customer service issues head on, Scott takes the cowards way out.  Buyers Beware. Nice try Scit Scat Scammer Scum.

You are right about one thing Scit Scat Scammer. I am very angry that you tricked me into paying full price. It's not about the money. It's the principle of the matter. You agreed to sell me the mic at 117.50 in writing. Then you attempted to deceive me by claiming paypal was preventing you from partially refunding. I called you out on it and you didn't like it so you changed your story altogether. You then stated ebay instructed you not to partially refund the difference. You continue to lie by stating that I am a thief. What did I steal from you exactly? Your dignity? To further salt the wound you tried to bribe me by claiming you would only issue the partial refund if I left feedback for you. Maybe this crap works with other people for you. Sadly, this could have all been avoided had you simply honored the price that you agreed to sell the mic for. In the future try to remember a simple common standard in business:

Lying cheating business practices = Very Angry Customers

Customer Lies & eBay Agrees. Customer Will Be Suspended from eBay Indefinitely

This is in regards to a customer's comment of us going back on our word. As many of you know eBay allows a buyer 3x offers to get an item at a lower price than advertised. We are selling a music recording studio microphone to be used for vocals, instrumentals, etc... This is a studio grade microphone for cheap. Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) is = $129.00 which is set by the Manufacturer. We also offer Free Shipping in the United States, which is a $10-15 value for this particular item. Which includes Full Insurance, Delivery Confirmation, and Direct Signature.  

 

 

The customer is - Michael Shiraef from Burbank, CA 91505. The customer made 3x offers that were all Auto-Declined because they were too low. 

Dates and Times of these offers:

11/11/14 at 18:29:45 PST

11/11/14 at 18:29:33 PST

11/11/14 at 18:29:19 PST

This customer offered $88.77, $92.44, and $97.88, while the item sells for = $129.00. 

 

 

We told him specifically to make an offer for = $117.50 on 11/17/14. When a customer makes an offer below the Auto-Decline amount, we do not receive that buyers information at all. eBay does not share that information, the only email we receive states: “Dear Scitscat, One of your buyers attempted to make an offer on an item you are selling below the Auto-Decline Limit, we have notified the customer that the offer is too low. Please reconsider lowering your limit amount if possible. Thank You, eBay Sales Team.” So, we did not know it was him. Now according to eBay Rules, not ours, EBAY’S, if you use all 3x offers up, you are NOT allowed to make another offer on that particular item. So, the customer was forced to purchase at the Buy It Now Price. Yet, the question that remains, if we offered him a price why not reach out to us and purchase via Phone? our Website? our Google Shop? No, he wanted to stay on eBay. This customer is NOT new to eBay, he has been purchasing on eBay for over 4 years, with over 600 Feedback Ratings. He knows the rules, he knows that after 3x offers he’s done. Every eBay user knows this, as this is mentioned to them after each offer. This is what we received from the customer: “ebay would not allow me to make another offer after the third attempt.”

 

 

Trying to accommodate the customer we called eBay to see if it is okay to issue a Partial Refund for the customer, because we've never done that. After spending over an hour on the phone with eBay because of their automated systems, that take forever to get you to a human. eBay told us not too. A quote from eBay, “The customer purchased at the Buy It Now Price, you do not and should not issue him any sort of refund no matter the agreement.” We went a step further and called PayPal, and according to their rules we cannot go into the sale and issue a partial refund for the item unless the item is delivered or returned to us. By issuing a refund, we are voiding the sale and agreement with eBay, why should we do that? The item shipped, and is in transit to the customer. He gets a refund and a microphone? And were the scammers? Ha! That’s a laugh. 

 

 

We relayed all of this information to the customer, which obviously enraged him. He is an arrogant and rude customer, who emailed over 20 times using profanity and condescending remarks. To the point where eBay had to block this customer. This customer has since been blocked, and is under review by eBay who will suspend his account. This customer will be banned from eBay for violating numerous rules as well as using intolerable remarks and sayings slandering our company. We do hundreds of thousands of sales online each year. In over 20+ Years in business, we have NEVER come across a customer this greedy, stingy, hateful, and arrogant customer like this. 

 

 

Here are some of the things he has said to us: “you ignorant and idiotic F@#k. Refund the money and you can stick the mic right back up where the other garbage that you write on here comes from.” We have since offered him to return the microphone for a full refund. He has not responded. This is clearly a customer who needs some serious anger management lessons.
