Scott Askinazi Beware of this New York City real estate agent! I paid Scott Askinazi a realtor fee for an apartment he showed me that I decided to rent which I didn't get due to an issue with my co-signer's credit. He stole my money and refuses to return my calls. New York New York

If anyone investigates Joseph G. Julian they will see that his past and quickly find out that his credit is shot do to things I don't need to get into. So even his credit speaks to his character.  He knew he would not be able to obtain an apartment using his correct information. There are many people committing fraud. There are many people needing apartments these days, they will do many things to get an apartment and some will retaliate at the people attempting to help them when they feel embarssed or feel angry if they didn't get away with their acts.  Joseph did just that. He lies about his co-signer, he lied about his information, and lied that I never returned the money. He did tell the truth that I help people and I did help her, and I wanted a witness the day I was returning the money since he didn't cash the check; she did see me give the money to Joseph. As you see in his 2nd post he did get a check from me. Sept 30, 2013 and admits that he contacted me in Feburary wanting more, he wanted interest. So since I didn't give him more I guess I in his eye I didn't pay him the full amount.  As I said, I didn't return his calls after I settled with him what was due. Especially since I spent many days and hours helping a person who would not qualify for any of the apartments that I work with. Managment companies want tenants with good credit. Don't shoot the messenger.

I'm here to comment on Mr. Askinazi's continuing to lie and deceive people. In respont to Scott's comment(s)

Mr. Askinazi did inform me that he was leaving for DR thus (requesting) his fee since it would help him on his trip to DR and since he was referred by a good friend of mine in his industry I felt that it wouldn't be an issue which was a huge mistake on my end! Obviously the "asking me to wait" comment is a lie, he actually convinced me by saying he will put my money in an escrow account until the lease is signed.

How can anyone use someone else's information to obtain an apartment when my state ID and S.S # is required!! That just doesn't make any sense. I can easily prove that through the management company.

Scott Askinazi wrote, quote " The co-signer was not going to live with him nor had any personal relationship to him"  >> Now how can I have a co-signer that I have no personal relationship with agree to co-sign my lease! And the lies continue.

Scott Askinazi wrote, quote " I had returned the commission to Joe over a period of several months due to not working in the industry because of health related issues" >> I have a recording of Askinazi admitting to using my commission money to treat himself for stomach parasites the he got in DR, which then his mom ended up using my commission money which was in his checking account yet it was supposed to be in an escrow account as he claimed he was doing.

Scott Askinazi did give me a check after I requested it since he had not payed back my commission for months to come, I requested the check as a peace in mind that he will eventually give me back my money but I was never able to cash it because everytime I asked he claimed he as no money in his checking account.

He sang my praises to Venny Losiyana and told her that I was a good man. >> Askinazi did meet me in December to explain why he has not paid my commission fee five months after he took it, there was a woman in the car the he claimed was helping because she's a refugee from an Asian country and is new to the States, so I went over to the car and said he was a good man to help her.

Scott Askinazi wrote, quote "In February of 2014, I received a call from Joe who was upset that I had taken so long returning the money that he began to demand I pay additional interest for having to wait. I didn’t return his text or calls after I had settled my debit with him" >> I'm not sure which country Mr. Askinazi lives in because in the United States where I live, banks give about 0.01 or 0.02 if you have your money in a savings account.

I felt the need to add to the report of Joseph G. Julian because this site has not chosen to look at the facts. As I mentioned once I was made aware of the false report I posted that Joseph used forged documents in an attempt to rent an appartment.  Once the management company was able to identify his true identity they wanted nothing to do with him. I gave him a check and paid him the money that was due him. He didn't want to cash the check but receive cash. His statement that I owe him 1,500 is a lie and a way of acting out because he was angry that I could not secure the apartment for him using false documents.  I will not.   

Hi my name is Charlie and I've rented twice from Scott over 3 years.  He was always honest and very professional.  I was actually referred to him from a friend that rented from him. It seems to me that is Joe was trying to play games with his Id and should be the one ripoff report should be going after...

Mr. Askinazi is a great realtor. He showed me many apartments and was very patient with me and my situation.  I asked him if I could pay his commission over a period of a week and he worked with me when no other realtor would.  Since than I have referred other friends to him and they all were happy with his professional service and fair fee. He is one of the good ones.

I wanted to comment because I had accompanied Scott as witness on the day he returned the commissions to Joe aka Joseph.  After Scott returned the money Joe came over to me and said that Scott is a good man.  What Joe is saying about Scott is not true.

Joseph was referred to me in July of 2013 through a real estate agent that knows my character and my good standing within the industry.  Joseph or Joe provided me with all his information to rent an apartment with one of the largest management companies I work with in Queens.  I informed Joe that I was leaving for DR and would be away for the week. He was so eager to provide me with all his information and insisted to pay the commissions upfront - prior to anything being approved.  I felt this was odd and asked him to wait. Nevertheless he insisted and I took the commissions and he eagerly went to give the other checks to management.   After I came back from DR I had learned that Joe was using someone else’s information to obtain the apartment; he was denied.  The co-signer was not going to live with him nor had any personal relationship to him.  I had returned the commission to Joe over a period of several months due to not working in the industry because of health related issues.  Prior to returning the commissions I provided Joe with a personal check for the full amount of 1,500 dollars in August of 2013.  Upon returning the commissions in December I was accompanied by Venny Losiyana. He sang my praises to Venny Losiyana and told her that I was a good man.  Later on Joe promised to destroy the $1,500 check via text since he didn’t return it when I gave him the money. In February of 2014, I received a call from Joe who was upset that I had taken so long returning the money that he began to demand I pay additional interest for having to wait. I didn’t return his text or calls after I had settled my debit with him.
