Secondhand Sandies in Havana, FL claims to be a unique second-hand store with great finds and friendly staff. What they don't tell you is that behind their facade lies a stream of scams.

85% of the things in their stores and warehouses are donated, or GIVEN, to Sandie. The rest she purchases from restaurants, estate liquidation, etc. for little to nothing. Then she jacks the prices up to ungodly figures hoping to make a huge profit!

Do NOT buy a bed from her! Even though some of her mattress sets are in plastic, do not be fooled! Ninety percent of these mattresses are purchased SECOND HAND from furniture stores! Example: Mays-Munroe has a customer that purchases a new bed from them; they pick up their old mattresses. These are the mattresses that she is selling to you, and what no one will tell you is that most of these mattresses are infested with bed-bugs. I purchased a set from her, and my entire family ended up with an outbreak.

Worst of all, she has these poor, unfortunate souls working for her for next to nothing! She does not even pay them minimum wage. There is one lady that was working for her that made $35 a day, and another that only made $6 per hour. There are many homes in Gadsden and Leon counties that are owned by this woman, and she rents them out. She never accounts for that money in her books. Beware of Secondhand Sandies!!
