The locking gas cap on my vehicle would not unlock for me to obtain gas to go to work.  After my son and I worked on the gas cap for an hour and a half I decided to call a locksmith to enable me to go to work.  Upon looking at the internet I called a 7/24 one in Louisville, TN claiming to charge only $19 to look at the problem and provide a quote.  The prices online were reasonable with most of them being in the $25 range for opening a house door or a vehicle.

The man arrived after 40 minutes (20 minutes later than the person phoned said he would get here) looking extremely intimidating, unwashed, unkept, and obviously living in his car.  He looked at the gas cap and quoted me $65 to open the gas cap.  I could not believe the price since it was much more than any of the other services listed. 

He provided a receipt (of which he did not give me a copy) for $84 making me sign it prior to his opening the gas cap.  He then pulled out a hugh wrench, turned the cap once, and handed it to me (taking under a minute). 

I exclaimed the price was way too much for what he just did.  He said, "You signed the form".  I paid him the exorbanent price and called the original number on the internet.  They laughed at me when I complained to them about the situation.

Do not call these scam artists for locksmith service.  They will cheat you and scare you.  I did not appreciate them sending the person they did to a widows house and I actually have been a bit afraid they know where I live.
