The information provided in this report below is based on comments made by Roland Guerrero during an onsite inspection held by a third party verification company with no biases toward Seek Capital.


Seek Capital is a business devoted to making, "small business owners dreams come true by helping get their funding." Seek Capital not only facilitates funding for small businesses but also provides consulting services. Through their excellent relationship with banks they are able to offer various products to their clients as well as provide the highest level of customer service. Roland Guerrero, Director of Client Services sated, "we hold their hand throughout the whole time from beginning to end."

Leads for Seek Capital are acquired through various sources including: online marketing interface, referrals, and word of mouth. Once a potential client expressed interest in Seek Capital's services they will be directed to a staff of highly trained sales staff. The sales staff will explain the processes of their company, as well as advise the client what Seek Capital can offer them. Once they become a client they can expect to to receive the highest level of customer service, "we want to partner up with our clients face to face like that just to make sure they understand where their at in the process, and what to expect."


During the onsite interview Mr. Guerrero was asked to describe a situation where a customer was not satisfied with the level of service or product they received. Mr. Guerrero expressed that while they rarely receive complaints, if they do if the end product dose meet the clients initial expectations. Often times the end product may not come in exactly when the client desires due to the immense details needed in order to obtain the funding. In order to combat this Seek Capital makes sure that there client in informed through every step of their process, "we're always trying to have these checks and balances with our clients to make sure they understand throughout the entire process, and even between those times." Seek Capital believes that communication is key in providing quality customer service.

When asked to comment on complaints posted on Ripoff Report's website Mr. Guerrero expressed that the client's expectation was larger than what Seek Capital was trying to present to them. While the client was informed throughout their entire process of exactly what they were receiving, they were still upset with the outcome. Seek Capital is constantly looking to improve themselves during their first year as a company, "we're not perfect, but we learn from our mistakes. After reaching out to the client, he apologized profusely and acknowledges that he was emotional and should not have complained before reaching out to us for assistance. Client would like to rescind this complain. We worked with the client and provide an amazing experience to him where he actually posted a review on both our Facebook and Yelp pages. This complaint prompted our team to be even more proactive to reach out to our clients.



 I originally requested $20-25,000 in funding. When I spoke with Carl (Bernie) Garland he said that they could probably get me almost twice as much with cash capabilities. I said perfect as I need cash too! Bear in mind that these are business/personal credit cards. Here's the issue, I have two mortgages and one is from my previous marriage. This is impacting my debt to income (DTI) ratio and I already knew that prior to contacting Seek Capital LLC. I'd been turned down elsewhere on my own prior so I took a chance with them as a last resort. I made it clear to Bernie after his underwriting team approved me based solely on my credit score (which is greater than 730) that I had two mortgages and he made it clear to me that his "professional" underwriters shouldn't have an issue. Two months go by (not fast service which they advertise) and I begin receiving declined credit card inquiries in my mail including one even stating "no third party applicants please apply on your own" so now I'm skeptical ESPECIALLY when I'm assured by Bernie that Seek has a "GREAT relationship" with these lenders. Seek did however manage to aquire one $14,000 personal credit card. Gabe Feldman contacted me saying that they've done all that they can do and that they need to bill me for 11.99% of $14,000 which amounts to $1,678.60 I'm using the business start up capital for Real Estate investing so there's not a whole lot that I can do with a $14,000 credit card, less the $1,678.60 that I owe them. ... My advise is this, if you're going to use their services, can you really feel confident in what they say? I signed the contract so I'm liable to pay even though they come up incredibly short. If you've got the credit and you have a fair understanding of how it all works, GO IT ALONE!! You don't need a third party applying for you.

Scammed? More like mislead.

 I never said that I got scammed. I certainly could have but I won't go that route. I was mislead over the telephone. My original post was to warn folks to be skeptical of their assurance. I made several points clear to them in which I was told that it wouldn't be an issue, otherwise I would've backed out. A consumer should have confidence in a product.

 You asked for 20 to 25 k? And you got 15k. They clearly explain the fee they charge for there services. You understood that when you agreed to the deal. To say that is a scam is negligent on your part. It is disappointing they couldn't get you more money but I'm sure they used all there resources which is why it took longer than expected. You basically got what you came in asking for, where you couldn't get it on your own. This is not a scam
