 I CALLED THEY R CLOSED N I WENT ON THE SITE N TOLD THEM 2 GIVE MY MONEY BACK 2 MY CARD T.Y.  I DON'T NEED WEIGHT LOSS N DON'T KNOW WHO OR HOW THEY GOT MY CARD NUMBER,BUT I WANT MY MONEY BACK FROM THEM THEY HAD NO RIGHT 2 TAKE ANY MONEY OFF MY S.S. INCOME I GET EVERY MONTH FROM RETIRED 65 YR OLD MAN .PLEASE HELP ME GET IT BACK. I DON'T NEED WEIGHT LOSS

do not buy e-cigs they rip u off they say u can cancel at anytime before 30 day tiral n they charged me 4.95 then when i called 2 say i didn't like it n was sending it back the man named robert said i will extend it 14 more day's n send u a milder strenght it came 10day's later n i still didn't like it,so i called back n said i need a return slip n i gotonly rma #52ychz n had 2 pay 2 ship the suckee product back they r not a good company do not buy e-cig's they lie n try 2 get u 2 buy something u don't want t.y. MR VICE PRESIDENT OF SELF HELP WEIGHT LOSS HE HELPED ME N CALLED ME 2 TELL ME MY MONEY WAS ALL REFUNDED T.Y BRIAN OF SELF HELP WORKS

Unfortunately the nice elderly gentleman who posted this complaint posted it in error - he had his facts wrong. However, as explained below, he was not able to remove it even though he posted an update saying he had made an error.

Fortunately for us, in addition to posting on this site the gentleman also sent us a similar email over the weekend so we were able to track him down. We spoke with him via phone, asked a few questions, located his account record in our computer system, and gave him a refund for one of our products (a stop-smoking course, not a weight loss product) that he had purchased the month before but no longer wanted. The gentleman was happy that we had been able to help him out and thanked us. He later returned to this website and posted an update saying that we did not in fact inappropriately charge him for a weight loss product (please see his post).

Unfortunately the gentleman was unable to remove his erroneous original post because, as stated in this website's arbitration rules: 

Q: What if I am the original author of a report and I want to remove it or make changes? Can I accomplish this through the VIP Arbitration Program?

A: The simple answer is NO. As indicated throughout our website, the record created by an original author is a permanent record

So our company, which has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and whose products are the trusted choice of major health plans, hundreds of corporate wellness programs and even government offices,now has to suffer the consequences of this erroneous post, which the gentleman who posted it tried to rectify but couldn't due to the website policy.

 

Now, here's what actually happened to cause the gentleman to post on this website in the first place ...

The gentleman purchased some electronic cigarettes (we are not sure where or how). He later received a call from a third-party call center to confirm his shipping address. During the call the agent asked if he was interested in trying our company's online stop-smoking program for $4.95 for 3 weeks, after which he would be billed $26.95 monthly to continue the program. He was told he could cancel any time.

The gentleman said yes, he would like to try the stop-smoking program. He confirmed by reading his entire 16-digit credit card number to the agent, who then set up our stop-smoking course and the related billing service for him. That is why the gentleman had an account with us, and that's why he was being billed as agreed.

Please note that we obtained a recording of the entire phone conversation from the third-party call center who sold the stop-smoking course to the gentleman. We have the audio recording on file however there does not appear to be a way to post the audio file on this site so you can hear it for yourself.
