Some time ago I was called by a company representing e bay to convince me to sell my art and jewelery on e bay. I was told no charges would be made except for the cd i gave them my information and the cd arrived. it never worked and I called them they would not refund my money but did advise me that no other charges would be sent to me. I have been charged for about a year approx 60.00 a month I have been neglectful in checking my visa bill until october 2008 and have noticed the charges for the last three months. i have left numberous messages but no one returns my calls.

Don't believe everything your told

AUTHOR: Me - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, January 10, 2009

It is a sad fact that you can't believe everything your told. Get it in writing, and make sure you read the fine print. Alot of these 'rip-off's' would have been out of business long ago if people made an effort to make themselves aware of what they are agreeing too. Read EVERY contract and agreement, look for the fine print. If you think an ad or a website is sufficiant for you, print out EVERY page and keep a copy (I do not suggest this). Call them and cancel. You may even have to replace your card. It sounds like you agreed to some monthly service or membership.
If you are going to decide to try and get your money back, make sure you have all of your original paperwork, and read it closely first.
