SeniorLeads helps financial professionals expand their current ventures through their easy to use online platform. SeniorLeads provides companies and individuals with interested prospects in their area of expertise. Bob Richards stated the following about his company, "[we] advertise to consumers offering financial information and when the consumer makes a request we sell that lead to a Financial Professional in the consumer’s area to respond to the consumer and supply the consumer that information. We charge the Financial Professional for the lead."
Leads for SeniorLeads come from businesses and individuals who are searching for solutions via Facebook, Google, or a site designated to receive co-registration offers. Mr. Richards explained the sales process after a potential client has decided to utilize their services, "A sales consultant walks them through how we get the consumer and how the financial professional will follow up with and connect with them. Once the Financial Professional returns their agreement, we do something a bit odd even though we are a web-based business, they have to physically fill out and submit the agreement. Everybody has to sign it before we take any money."
CUSTOMER CARE & COMPLAINT RESOLUTION – SENIORLEADS
During the on-site interview, Mr. Richards was asked to describe a situation where a client was not satisfied with the level of service they received. Mr. Richards proudly expressed that they have never had a complaint from a consumer. This is because the consumer orders the information and gets the information from the Financial Professional. He did additionally express, "from the Financial professional, they might complain and say that they try to contact us and we didn’t respond, or they contacted us three times and didn’t get a callback."
When asked to comment on complaints posted on Ripoff Report's website Mr. Richards stated the following, "we have three complaints on Ripoff Report. One person has a complaint that they tried to get service and no one responded. It specifically states in the user agreement how to get service. They will not do that and they think they will get a response. The agreement tells people exactly how to contact our service department. We can check the server logs to see if that person reached out to us. The human beings we have working in the service department are not clever enough to change that in the database. What we suppose happened is that they contacted our sales person and that sales person is an independent contractor and does not respond to a service issue." In order assure future and current clients SeniorLeads adheres to the regulations held by the Federal Trade Commission.
When asked what type of changes they have made to honor their commitment to making things right with the consumer per the request of Ripoff Report, Mr. Richards stated, "changes are continual...It’s in our best interest to have the Financial Professional to stay with us a long time. We didn’t always do the comparison between the consumer’s IP address and physical address. That is something we added to weed out those requests that looked bogus. Might be a child playing around on the internet. That’s something we’ve added over the past two years. Every lead received from a consumer we submit it to a third party called Service Objects. They run 130 tests on the addresses, email, phone, and name. They look at all four fields we are getting and compare them to look for consistency or accuracy. If we don’t get a score of at least 60 if it's below we reject it. A year from now we might be offering technology that doesn’t exist yet."

Ripoff Report would like to let readers know that Ripoff Report emailed this customer so the member business could make things right with them. When a business joins the Corporate Advocacy Program, Ripoff Report emails everyone from the past so the member business can make things right with them. Of course, everything within reason. In order to confirm that the complaints were resolved, Ripoff Report is copied on all responses so we can insure that the member business did right by their customer. STATEMENT FROM SENIORLEADS:
We provide access to compliance materials prior to any payment. Our written agreement explains that the customer should obtain compliance approval FIRST. Once an account is activated, leads come immediately, just as the agreement says. Our software caps daily leads at 5 unless the customer removes that cap. If removed, the customer will receive more than 5 leads per day. If our software fails to operate as specific, we will refund for excess leads. We teach an approach when calling the prospects. If that approach is not followed, the advisor/agent will often be rebuffed. Since our agreement states that we have no information about the lead, it is possible that their primary language is not English. Therefore, the advisor/agent should carefully select zip codes from which to get leads. Before we received any complaint (through the support ticket system), the customer filed a chargeback with their credit card company and we permitted that refund to be processed. We reviewed our agreement and documentation for clarity to insure the customer can operate their account for the desired results.

This company has changed their name from Brokerville to Seniorleads and a few others....beware!
The proposed program: Seniorleads sends leads within 5 minutes of someone filling out a from online requesting information on financial products-- you email and mail a booklet about the products they requested immediately. Wait a few days and call. They say they're exclusive leads and at 179.00 sign up, 19.00 per lead sounds great....unfortunately, it's a beautifully crafted scam.
On my original call, I noted Compliance would have to give an ok on booklets before anything could start. I was assued this wouldn't be an issue but first I'd need to sign up and get access to the libary of booklets (179.00 sign up), then could customize the booklets for approval-- during this time no leads would be sent. I also mentioned, I'd like the ability to pause, reduce or increase radius and adjust lead flow or target a different city and was assured this was all possible from the dashboard. Seniorleads confirmed the account once activated would be capped at 5 leads a day. Once you sign up they have authorization to automatically charge your credit card on file 200.00 when they've provided enough leads to do so (19.00 a lead at 10 leads.
I signed up on a Wednesday-- customized booklets and sent to Compliance...then on Friday was emailed 12 leads -- emailed Seniorleads, no response but because it was late day Friday brushed it off...Seniorlead had assurred me in my initial call, the account would start off when I was ready AND with a 5 lead cap. Figuring it was a glitch, went online to the Seniorlead dashboard to adjust the cap -- nothing happened and by Saturday I'd received 23 leads-- went online an additional 3 times over the week-end to adjust the cap-- tried to reduce the radius-- eliminate all booklet requests-- nothing worked and the leads just kept pouring in. Checked my credit card balance Sunday eve, they'd debited me 34 leads (646.00). Emailed Seniorleads asking to pause the account, take it offline and got an email back Monday saying it couldn't be paused for 28 days, altered for 28 days (radius, etc) and it couldn't canceled until the 1st Thursday of the month -- luckily I signed up on the 28th but unfortunately received 48 leads in the few days when I was not suppose to be "live" (931.00 + 179.00 = 1110.00). Canceled the service 1st availiable date, per Seniorleads....having not received an approval from my Compliance Dept yet -- figured I should call the leads and was further disappointed with the results: (1/3) non-english speaking, people hanging up, saying they were NOT interested, etc...not 1 in 48 was receptive.
They've built a very nice website, fine tuned their manners and asnwer YES to any question with no intention to offer anything more then a very poor list -- which you can get free via Google.
The credit card company reversed all charges and has them under investigation. Compliance will not approved their program or booklets.
