I understand that every now and than you may get a bad pizza. But when you deliver 5 pizzas in a month and every one of them taste like watered down cardboard. Over an hour to deliver less than 1 mile. If you stupid driver cant find our place after the 23 time being here than something is really wrong. The utterly disgusting pizza isnt what really pissed me off...its the way tha owner spoke to me on the phone like"how dare you" what a dumba**hole....im a loyal coustomer and at $33 dollars a pop for bad pizza that isnt what I ordered in the first place and you take an attitide with me?????the way I see it you stole over $200 from me and though I canlt get my money back....I can inform the barrington area what a jerk you are and that your pizza sucks!!!!  Didnt the org. owner shoot himself in the head...in the kitchen??????  maybe you should dig him up. Bet he'd make better food. Thats the truth and I feel better letting the fine folks in barrington know that sergios pizza is a dump and the food sucks!!!!

I;m at a loss

AUTHOR: Tony Dioguardi - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, October 14, 2011

First of all I'm sorry you've had a bad experience.  But I find quite a few of your comments puzzling.

1) If you're truly ordering "$33 dollar pizzas" from us that would be an 18" pizza with an excess of SEVEN toppings on it.  If you ordered "five of those in one month", believe me I would take notice of who you are.  So I question the validity of both those statements.

2) I;m sorry but it doesn't matter  how far away you live, orders are delivered in the order in which they are received. But IF we do have another order going in that same direction we WILL bump you up in the delivery queue.  I noticed you didn't say the pizza was late, just that it took an hour, which is the standard delivery time quoted to you at the time of your order.  If you need it sooner than that, you are always welcome to come and pick it up, since your house is admittedly "less
than 1 mile" away.

3)  So I just want to make sure I understand this correctly.  None of our six delivery guys on staff are able to find your place after the "23rd time delivering there".   So you've gotten at least 18 pizzas from us that  you didn't complain about?  Or weren't so horrible that you ordered 5 more times from us?  I'd like to think I'm a reasonable guy, but after two or maybe three duds at an alleged $33, I would be getting my pizza from somewhere else.  So perhaps it's not the pizza after all?

4) Perhaps you did call after you got a "bad" pizza.  If you called ranting and raving like some lunatic DEMANDING things from me and when I asked you to calm down you hung up on me, then there is nothing I can do for you.  That was the last "complaint" call I personally took in the last 4 months.  If it was more recent, you didn;t speak to me. If it was longer ago than that you'll have to refresh my memory.

So it seems somewhere along the line you feel you were treated poorly, since no one in their right mind orders from a  pizza place, (I;m sorry "dump") where "the food sucks" 23 times.    And because you feel you were treated poorly, you wish to get back at me by posting a "ripoff" report.   I don't remember ever talking to you.  IF I did, I highly doubt you called to express a problem with your pizza, rather you called yelling and screaming and probably swearing at me. You probably
called my driver a much stronger word than "stupid", and then went on to berate my pizza and DEMAND restitution.  Well, I have a very simple policy. If  ANYONE calls yelling and screaming and making demands, the response they receive will be in keeping with the tone they display.  If you called saying "you know what guys, I';ve ordered from you  23 times in the last 5 months and they've all been pretty good, but the last couple have  been some real duds and I just wanted to know if
you could do something for me"  Believe me, I would have PERSONALLY made you a new pizza and put you first in  the delivery queue or brought it out myself.  That's the simple truth.

I also realize that some people think that they're my ONLY customer and I'm their personal chef.

And no offense to them but I have over 11,000 other customers to tend to also, so my advice to them when they call DEMANDING things and TELLING ME how things should be, is to kindly suggest they take their business elsewhere.   Treat people rudely and they'll treat you the same way.   If you want to be treated with respect, try being respectful.   And as
to your comment about the previous owner  killing himself, that pretty much sums up the kind of person you are.  What does that have to do with anything and what kind of disturbed person says something like that?

I;m sure if I look I'll find similar "negative" comments on other review sites.  Knock yourself out, if that's what it takes to make you feel better.  I'm sorry for any anguish we may have caused you.  But I feel you really need to find some good psychological counseling and I'll be sure to pray for you next time I'm in church.   Good luck to you, and get well soon.

Perhaps just coincidental, but I received an email solicitation shortly after  an email directing me to this site. The
solicitation was about how to move all my "bad" reviews to the bottom ofthe google search engine so they wouldn't be noticed by other perspective customers  How much for this service.... $3000. They didn't mention "ripoff report" directly but did imply that if every search engine result on Google came up "ripoff report" the fee would be closer
to $10,000. So I just have to ask.....coincidence or scam?
