Shell Gas Station and Convenient Store Our gas tank only holds 15 gallons of gas and we filled up the tank when we had a half a tank and we were charged for 11 gallons of gas. 4 gallons is just too large a discrepancy. Waldoboro Maine

This leter is being written to report the Shell Gas Station gasoline purchase overcharge. When we started filling the tank the gas guage read half full. As our tank only holds 15 gallons. There is a huge discrepancy in the overcharge. as the pump showed that we filled the tank with 11 gallons of gasoline, when it shouldn't have taken over 8 gallons to fill the tank. 11 gallons means there's something terribly wrong. We have reported this to the ME weights and Measures Division.
