Sherrods Auto Body ripped off in the worst way Gary Indiana

In feb of 2006 i had my 2003 chevy blazer towed to sherrods boby shop on 10th ave in gary indiana. Mr sherrod told me that it would take about 7 days to give me a price to fix the truck. So in the mean time me and my hubby started to buying parts for the truck to save money.After one week we called the body shop he had not looked at the truck.2nd week he had not looked at it.3rd week i mad now because i needed my truck so i told mr sherrrod that i would take the truck some where else. so he call me back and said that it would be 3500 dollars to repair the truck with the parts, and he need 2000 upfront and the rest when he finished. My husband and i got the money. he said 2 weeks the weeks had past and i called him. He stated my mom sick in mississippi and ill be back in a week or so. The month is now april truck still not done i went to shop and asked where was the truck he stated at another shop to weld the bumper off.the month is now May truck still not fix. Now im pissed ok where is the truck i asked now its at the paint shop.

So my uncle said hes trying to get over on u and he went up there and they told him it take time he was not going to rush the job.Now june is here no truck still. July 2006 he tells me the truck will be ready in 5 more day he need the rest of the money. i give him the money 2000 dollars cash the truck was repo form the shop the truck was never fix and he kept the money the parts and told me i was changed for storage fee for 5 month of the truck being there.
