The price that was negotiated was to be paid contingent on the interpretation being completed, and it was not completed. In no way does the negotiated interpretation and mileage rate nullify the no-show rate (that was agreed to and signed on her contract); at no time was that ever stated or implied during the negotiations. Mileage is calculated beforehand and negotiated beforehand. Travel time does not contribute to this rate; therefore, travel time is not relevent.

Our records show that we have worked with Sherry before, which again is a representation of her dishonesty. For this job, there was substantial travel that was negotiated beforehand as well. Her hourly rate was increased from $35 to $50.

Threats and dishonesty have no place in this business. 

It is so unfortunate that I have to dig in my files to find proof of the unethical and falsifying behavior of Health Plus Trans. Attached is proof that an agreement was made to be paid the amount of $140.00 for services rendered. This was the only way I accepted the job, despite a document they posted of an agreement of $55 NSF. I would have never driven 3 hours for such a petty amount. This is the reason the attach agreement was made.

I have wonderful clients and companies that will speak highly of me. This is the last time I will accept an offer from a non reputable company who defames their subcontracted help.

I really feel sorry for Brandi Lewis of Health Plus Trans, LLC.,  a person who uses biblical scriptures in all email communications to clients. I am shocked at how unethical and immoral this person is to try and defame my good name and character as a valued professional translator and interpreter of 25 years. 

An agreement was made via email communication as to the cost of a three-hour R/T travel charge with a two-hour minimum charge by Ms. Lewis's associate and myself through various emailed communications, therefore nullifying the NSF charge of $55. I never provided services for this individual in my life, this was the first, and definitely the last!

In addition to the emailed communication of payment agreeing the two-hour minimum,plus mileage, I assisted Ms. Lewis's team in leaving messages and trying to communicate with their client at no charge, something I rarely do.

Ms. Lewis must be desperate in trying to defame my good character and professional name when confronted on her unethical practices. Should this be cause for a defamation suit? Let me think about it. I for one, have a clear conscience, and posses an extensive list of satisfied clients who would be shocked at her actions.

I certainly hope that RIPOFF REPORT can delete her ridiculous threats and crass behavior.
